Just for a tip on training Amiibo: NEVER STOP FIGHTING! Especially in the early stages which is where they learn the basics. If they see you doing nothing, they think it is crucial to do nothing for the rest of their training.
Did that for my hero amibo, it quickly became the best amibo out of all of my town

Longer: Amiibo use a custom learning CPU, but that CPU isn't exclusively per character. Combos and chains that one character can do might not be able to be done by the amiibo's character, but because it got hit by it, the amiibo will try to do it anyways. And while it's still does learn past level 50 if learning is still turned on, the first 50 levels teach the amiibo the basics and fundamentals of the character
Also letting your Amiibo win some matches in between is good as well.

Whisprr amiibo will always prioritize not dying over killing their opponent. Which means that if a move will result in them dying, even if it kills the opponent as well, it will rarely be used in a way that causes them to die. Ex, ridley dairing offstage, bowser side b cheesing. The only exception is ike/chrom with their up b while offstage, but even that is accidental

However, i would like it to have Sketch, to see what Sakurai would do.
Personally, i would make it so it copies his opponent's specials, and it couldn't use any specials otherwise, but it could do it at match start, so it doesn't get crippled by not having a recovery.
Also spore since every smeargle in Pokémon Showdown uses spore.
