I think the reason you lose multiple stocks if you die is because you cancel death lag, moving you into the blast zone again. The more you mash, the more stocks you lose.
That actually makes a lot of sense
Actually I think I have a better explanation
When you die in SSBU, u go into a "dead" state (the same way you have an "idle" state or a "run" state or wtv)
This mod makes it so you can cancel any state into any state
So you cancel the death state into an attack state, but it doesn't change your position
So you're basically alive inside the blastzone, so the game kills you again

Nah, Bayo's up B isn't the worst to SDI. The big ones that never let go and can move in multiple directions like DK or Bowser are so much worse.

If you’ve ever actually played turbo mode it is not fun at all! You just fish for dash attack cancels into your move that combos into itself and you die. Like samus up b ,dk f smash , falcon punch, and all of k rool’s moves

If you forgot, warios final smash was wario man and he had no lag on his moves except for his recovery and you had to just go crazy before the time ran out. And his bike would just zoom across the stage 😂
