FInally, UA-cam recommends me quality content by lesser-known content creators. I love video essays and your channel is right up my alley, you got a new fan :)
i love the quality of your videos man, keep it up!, also i totally agree, uncertainty is better than jumpscares
This is great! I agree with you regarding silence making you more anxious. I really think horror games should be more about the world-building and the constant presence of uncertianty
This was a very well-spoken and thoughtful video. As a composer, the balance of noisiness and quietness is something I think a lot about, especially in terms of horror games / moments of tension. Bombastic noise can heighten the senses, but so can absolute silence, depending on how thoughtfully they're used and how well they're paced.
I imagine this channel will definitely take off in time.
Thanks for the feedback, and I hope it will take off soon.
loved this video!!
amazing video
Thank you
Idk why but horror games just don't scare me anymore. Like, at all. The one horror game which scared me was Resident evil 2 remake, which is still one of my fav games ever. It was my second horror game after dead space original but that felt tedious to me so I didn't have as much fun. RE2 made me nearly shit myself on many occasions and I love it for that. But it also made everything else obsolete to me. For example, PT didnt scare me at all but I still like it. I still have fun with horror games mind you, but just never get scared yknow
I struggle to find any real unique horror games, the only ones I can think of are games that don't even prioritize horror (Darkwood, Stalker).
Hey, Any update on the Cyberpunk 2077 video? I would really like you to use Ride. Also a tip for you is try to spice up your account description other than just “I make stupid videos on games”. It’s better to have something to leave more of an interesting and positive impression for your viewers and new comers.
I let go of that Cyberpunk video a while ago. I did use one of your songs as my outro for a while until I stopped using the outro all together, and I'd be glad to use Ride when I'm making a video that'll fit well with it. As for my description, there's not that many people that look at it either way, been planning on changing my channel artwork, pfp and about page once I reach 1K subs.
@@MrEthos oh ok, what’s kings did you use as an outro and what videos?
@@Horizon_SoundsIt was the song "Flee", I used it on my Uncharted video, indie game video and the difficulty video.
@@MrEthos ok thanks bro
