It was some time in the early 2000s that ITN moved early morning bulletins of the ITV News out of the old ITN studio to make way for the ITN News Channel. Before the ITN News Channel was launched, the old desk was removed and replaced and the blue tinted windows were tinted white.
Studio 3 was the name for the newsroom studio at ITN back then. When ITN opened their brand new newsroom and studios at 200 Grays Inn Road in 1991, they always had the intention of having a newsroom based studio. This was down to the BBC also having a newsroom based studio used originally from 1986 for daytime summaries, and then in 1988 the 9pm News and weekend/bank holiday news. Originally Studio 3 was located on the second floor and was home to News at Ten and the Early Evening News from 1992. When News at Ten moved to the basement studio in 1994, ITN chose to move their newsroom down one floor, and Studio 3 moved with it, later getting a revamp for the ITN News bulletins of 1995 which all gained a new corporate look to match News at Ten. When finally ITN Morning News and summaries moved out of this studio and into the main basement studio of ITV News in 2000, Studio 3 for some unknown reason was renamed Studio 4 in time for the launch of the ITN News Channel. This was told to me by a former worker at ITN who worked in the newsroom.
@@solojinglesradio1Not marvellous because these people who constantly love spamming have been doing it for years and it's unfair and irritating for the UA-camr uploading it so I would stop if I was you
