Hey guys! I've been getting a lot of requests to try Morgan Taylor nail polishes, so I decided to pick out some pretty colors for a swatch and review! I mostly grabbed cremes but we have a shimmer and a couple of fun glitter toppers in here (literally obsessed with Lots of Dots!!) What do you think of this brand?

I like Morgan Taylor polish. My favorite fall color is Sunrise and the City. It changes from yellow, to orange, to orange-red in different lights, and is overall gorgeous.
The dots polish is SO CUTE!!!! It reminds me of Starrily’s Gumballs, just smaller and not neon! It’s basically what I’ve been imagining since I first started using Gumballs, I might have to hunt it down ❤️ I would also love to see more of you trying this brand, I’ve actually never heard of it before and it looks like they could come up with some interesting polishes

Literally was just wondering about this brand a couple of days ago - saw them in a Sally Beauty store and thought some of the shades looked straight up gorgeous but didn’t know anything about the formula or brush etc and now i know! Maybe I’ll try a few shades next time i see them 🎉

My local chemist recently put all OPI on sale for $2!
I use Morgan Taylor too, I like the big bottles, the ones I have are also thin but goog pigment, generous bottles and I like the brush. I think Kellie forgot to mention they dry fast which makes up for the thin formula, so that in itself is a big bonus. Quick thin coats especially love on my acrylics coz I don't want the thickness and if the brush was softer you'd end up flooding the nail, the brush suits the formula. It's s great brand so grab it if on sale !
This is completely unrelated to that brand...but will you please do a "favorite vamps" video? I love all your favorite videos, but I don't think you've done one on your favorite "vampy" colors. Please, please, please...pretty please 😁

I have a holo glitter shade by this brand and it’s nice! It actually layers nicely to be opaque in 2-3 coats and Only needs at most 2 coats of top coat to get rid of the texture but one coat is good for me.
Kelli, love your swatches! I would really want to see more collections from Morgan Taylor on your channel!! I gotta say while they're not always very innovating colors, it is a very nice brand indeed and very underated 😍😍 I have almost all the colors you showed!

I have one Morgan Taylor polish called Coming up Roses. I bought it when I was looking for just the right dusty rose shade for my light olive skin tone and I loooooooooove it. Not only is it a beautiful color, but it applies so smoothly and effortlessly.
A favorite of mine for a long time. I hope you'll do more swatches of the brand.They have great formulas,colors and that BRUSH!

I'm so excited that you did this vid because I've heard of Morgan Taylor and I want to try them. It's really nice to have a good idea of how many coats I'll need and shades. So most of their core shades that you picked, I have in Zoyas, but Gotta Have Hue or the bright teal is something I'd grab. Also, the toppers were pretty unique. I wish they applied more evenly but I still think they're supremely cute!
I'd love to see seasonal reviews!!!! You picked out such nice colors!!! Love the neon ones. My favorite colors to wear are purples and teals (turquoise) even on the eyes!!!

After years of me being annoying in your comment section requesting a Morgan Taylor swatch and review; today is the day haha. As a fellow Instagram nail artist who is on their PR, I know you would have loved their recent spring 2020 collection. But I love the brand and all the polishes as a whole. Hopefully you can get on the PR so that you can try the new collection each season without having to spend your own money. I'm not sure if the spring line is still available but I know you would have obsessed over "Ultimate Mix tape". Thanks for the review as always . Greatly enjoyed!

I’m so glad you did this review. I just bought Morgan Taylor Hip Hot Coral last week and really loved it. It’s a bright neon coral. I got many compliments on it. You should give it a try 😊

I own one Morgan Taylor (Making Waves), and it's fantastic.. I really like these colors a lot, especially the green, teal, pink, and that last topper!

It is strange to see videos of this brand in girls from the United States, and here in Mexico it is very popular. Curiously, I have not seen any of the tones that you show here and they are beautiful. They have two holographic collections called Platinum which is gorgeous.

En términos de esmaltes lo más popular (al menos en donde vivo) es el esmaltado en gel (específicamente la marca Gelish); ayer justamente compré algunas botellas de la colección multi cromática de Platinum y me encantaron! Una pena que no mucha gente conozca la marca
@@kaffeineee es popular entre quienes gustamos de comprar y coleccionar esmaltes. Solo la venden en Sally y seguido hay promociones. Las ultimas colecciones no han salido, probablemente por la pandemia, pero estamos esperando la de Villanas de Disney que está genial.
De echo Gelish y Morgan Taylor salen de la misma compañía! Los fundadores de Gelish son dos papas que fundaron la compañía en cual cuando sus hijas que son amigas crecieron y decidieron crear la línea Morgan Taylor y hay varios duos juntos con Gelish y Morgan Taylor que ofrecen el mismo color la única diferencia es que uno en esmalte y el otro es gel y Morgan Taylor creo que apenas tiene 9 o 10 años cual el Gelish lleva 30 años que fundaron la compañía Me encantan los dos y me da mucho gusto en saber esa historia en como lo crearon

One of my favorite Morgan Taylor polishes is Izzy Wizzy Let’s Get Busy. That baby with two coats or three with a Holo top coat! ❤️❤️❤️ I love it!

MorganTaylor is my favorite. I have been using this brand for about 2 years. The color B Girl style is definitely one of my favorites. Let them eat cake and High Voltage are my favorite glitter polish. I like the wide brush, the polish goes on nicely and stays on about a week for me.
Have never heard of this brand. I’m a sucker for a polish with a cute name. 😆 I liked how smooth the black polish applied. I would definitely try this brand if I saw it in a store.

I picked up a couple bottles at Sally’s in the fall. I had low expectations. I was very happy with them. Lots of pretty colors and pretty good staying power. I won’t hesitate to buy more of them.

I only have one which is a light gray and I love it! I thought the ones you added 3 coats were fine at 2. I’m really impressed with the black!
Honestly I'm usually fine with two coats even if there is a little bit of visible nail line, but I figure some people really hate it haha!
I love Morgan Taylor's brushes and formula! So easy to work with! I have several polishes from MT, mostly reds.
I am surprised I didn't pick any reds, haha! But I def wanna try more.
Morgan Taylor is an amazing brand, it helps to apply a ridge filling base coat before applying the polishes though. I have Tokyo A Go Go on my nails from Morgan Taylor's Hello Pretty summer 2015 collection, got it as a birthday present yesterday.
I enjoy Morgan Taylor - I like their dark colours and am excited to try more and see more of you trying them :) I also normally enjoy their 'fast dry' top coat. It dries quickly and isn't too thick

I have started capping my free edge before I do the nail then you don't have a problem with messing up the look if their a shimmer or if the polish is drying really fast. Also, that black was beautiful! And loved the dots topper!! I dont have any Morgan Taylor but now I would feel better if I did.

I don't know if I would try this specifically because of the brush. I personally prefer smaller brushes so that I don't get such angular lines around the cuticle, and dislike wide flat brushes. The fact that this has an extra firm wide flat brush doesn't strike me as the best fit, even though that iridescent light purple was LOVELY and the price isn't too bad (for a couple select shades).
If you need me I'll be at the grocery store buying a million OPI polishes at 50% off XD
Oh yeah if you don't like a wide flat brush you'll hate these, because it's so stiff you can't really shape it any other way haha!

I’ve seen these so many times at Sally’s but felt the price point was too high to take a chance on an unknown. After seeing your swatches I really want to give them a go - especially that mint & the teal. Oh, and that last topper was super cute, too. LOVE!! ❤️❤️

I found a bunch of these on clearance at my Sally Beauty Supply for $1.50 a piece so I think I grabbed five. One of them was the mint chocolate chip! I have not tried the polishes yet but I can't wait to.
I love bright colors, so my favorites are: Look at You, Pink-achu!, One Piece or Two, Gotta Have Hue, and Lots of Dots! I just got a polish from Etsy called Freckles, which reminds me of Lots of Dots, except that the dots are neon colors and are black light reactive!

Kelli I love that brand! You might like the color hip hop coral it's a neon hot pink/pinky red in sunlight, jelly/crelly..... Idk it's a lot of things I am obsessed with that color!

I really liked Morgan Taylor MTV collection! The peach shade (Super Fandom) is really pretty! (Not enough love for peach shades!!) The collection had a strong gold shimmer in them and they can be three coaters, but I didn't mind because the colours are really nice and I'm like you, I don't mind a little nail line in my finished looked.
Morgan Taylor has some of my favorite colors and I love their brush

@@KelliMarissa my favorite color from them is under the stars and i think it is a part of their regular line. it is a dark navy blue base (it looks almost black) and it has different sized silver holo glitters in it. it does dry bumpy but top coat helps that. but it looks like the night sky in a bottle and it looks so much better in person than it does online
I’ve tried 2 MT polishes. Loved one, hated the other. I would definitely like to see more seasonal reviews from them.
My two favorite polishes were the first and the last. ♥️ also ur hair looks really nice, I love your eyeshadow, and the polish u were wearing in the intro and outro is pretty. :)

I am a Sally's shopper. I have 2 bottles. What I found is the pokish dries quickly. It did chip for me,but all polish does. I just recoated it every other day. Generally like the polish.

I like MT, my friend is a retired beautician so I get them for her price.😎 The colors are rich and are easy to spread with just a couple of strokes. But they are definitely more mainstream in their colors. I noticed the same thing about their brushes. Kelli, your hair is still gorgeous!

I got a coppery shade of theirs for the holidays and a few that looked holo. The copper was amazing but the holo ones looked more like silver on the nails than rainbows. Still, smooth formula to work with.
i liked their matte and quick dry top coat but going through my holo taco top coats right now :) that mint is soooo cute
