Thanks Sis for these tips! Got sisterlocks 2 weeks ago and I love it! Don't even care about the plucked chicken look. If you think about it, when you get individual braids your scalp shows. No more wigs, fake hair extensions, and wearing other people's hair...ugggh...just rocking the hair God gave me. So freeing! Yes, it's short but it will grow. Looking forward to this journey. 16 months into my journey & I love it I went from past shoulder length long hair to neck length locs 😳😅 the shrinkage was real. Now that my locs are growing, I miss my Bob length locs 😅 but I ain’t mad ❤

Oh my God I love you. I have 1-3 inch extremely low density locs. And I sweat so much. To braid my locs together is work! Just had my 1st retie yesterday. But I will adhere to yours and my loctician’s recommendations.

Its hard not to molest my starter locs, they so cute and springy. 😂 i try put it feels so good to run my fingers through my hair, i never straighten my natural hair now i can run my fingers through it blow in the breeze so fun lol.

What is instaloc?
I sweat when I'm teaching. I swim twice a week. My loctitian said oil my scalp every three days. And gave me a spray with glycerin. Told me to use that daily. And put knots on the ends of my hairline but didn't loc it because the tool wouldn't fit. so it was loose hairline in front with knots. I have loose ends which I love. She said put mousse on the ends. 4a hair with gray. Interlocked. And lots of slippage. Sigh.

Whenever you like. Locs can be new or mature for rollers
I'm 3 weeks interlocked microloc'd. My loctician advised me not to put anything in my hair, but I do put rosewater in my hair. I heard you mention a water-based leave in conditioner. What brand or do you suggest a certain one. Also, is it okay to use that almost 1 month in?

How long can you keep leave in conditioner and spring water mix in a plastic spray bottle???😢😮
If it's a store bought leave in conditioner, it should already have Perseevatives in it. But once you dilute it with water, if changes the efficacy of it so the time is shorten. You wouldn't know how long it's good for unless it is tested. To be on the safe side, stick to 7 days with it refrigerated
Trust the process!! Stay away from them botched loc extension installs!!!
