I'd highly recommend to use a heat gun or hairdryer and to NOT replicate what I did or do it in the cold!
It was much harder than it needed to be without the heat gun and warm weather!
This video was just to show how the difference between badges and no badges on a BMW F30!

Do you have any buddies with f30 335s? I'm actually looking at different exhaust options as well as going FBO this year, any help would be greatly appreciated. I would also like to add that your tutorials are by far some of the cleanest I've found on the web!!

Good video man. Here's a tip: use a hair drier for 5-10 mins on low heat to heat up the adhesive behind the badges! And take your time!

Rubbing alcohol works great for removing adhesive. Just apply it to a microfiber towel and it will come right off.

Ilias Koen It's definitely a cake walk doing it when it's warmer, and 328 is pretty average, I would never debadge a 335i. Lol

Only do this on a hot day ...Use a heat gun and take the tape of with friction

I see people talking about putting exhaust on 328 model's, I just don't understand why? Why would you want to make a slow car louder? I can understand if your boosted and need extra flow to make horsepower, but to just make a car loud for no reason makes no sense to me.....

Dylan De Souza you talking about smoking the tailights? I'm not a fan of that especially since I like the way my tailights look. The red looks good with the black. If the car was white yeah maybe I'd consider it lol
I quite like my 428 badge. Not as big of a fan of the xdrive badge though, but I wouldn't remove it
Just debadged the X-drive off my 335i. Looks much cleaner with just the 335i badge!
Actually,..it's quite reversible to 100%,...if one take measurements in advance of "Debadging",....preferably take measurements in 'millimeters'. Retain the measurements in the event one wants to re-badge! Personally, I think the number badge is too close to center,...BMW should push them out to the corners! I have used carnauba wax to remove the double-sided tape residue vs WD-40.

Asad Morani honestly no, if my car was white maybe, idk there's something ricey about tinting tailights imo. Idk I just don't like it, but maybe if I get bored of these tailights maybe

Did u ever upgrade your halogen lights to led? The stock halogens seem to be yellowish in color. I want white do you recommend getting white halogen lights or upgrading to led? Will there be error codes when upgrading to led bulbs? Thanks!
Flip Coin I got rid of the stock H7 halogen bulbs. I bought these LED ones that were a PAIN IN THE ASS to install, and my Daytime running lights are LED, one of them went out, and the computer didn't tell me, they don't throw errors at all.. if I can find them I can link you them tomorrow!
Shumile Swift how long before they went out? You should look into getting the angel eyes for your f30 there is a long thread on bimmerpost. Im thinking of getting the gp thunder halogens
Flip Coin They lasted 4 and a half months, I read online somewhere, I'm not sure if this is 100% true, that LED lights dont like the Cold weather? I'm pretty sure that's what I read, don't quote me on that. The LEDs are good for DRL, only problem is, is that they probe like crazy when I turn my car on, makes my car look like a undercover unmarked cop car lol

Asad Morani yes, but you have to code it, mine don't throw errors and I haven't done any coding at all.

It's fairly easy to get loans.......I worked in the loan business for years and always saw people over extending themselves and living beyond their means. People on welfare and who live in apartments drive nice cars...it's the American way!

When I did mine the gunk adhesive was the hardest to get off, but beating it up helped a ton
