I met the entire band in 03 while waiting in line for their concert. My friends and I were the only ones who recognized any of them, lol. They just walked right past the other 150 people in line. Some of us had merch they signed. I had this GJ hoodie on and Daryl took like five minutes writing something on it that looked like Chinese or Korean cuneiform. Wish I would have asked him what it meant.We saw all of them one after another and they each spent like five minutes talking with us, really cool guys.
I met Beck at Glasgow airport as he was flying back to NY because Daryl had got sick so they had to cancel their tour. He was really cool and said they'd try to come back soon. Think it was 10 years until they came back!
why is the sound so good, like someone actually had audio right from the instruments rather than just an ambient mic in a shitty location? vid quality sucks but the sound is the clearest of about any glassjaw video i can find. odd.
Wow the sound quality is very good except its hard to hear the bass (unfortunate considering this song has so many incredible bass riffs) I love the strange non sequiturs (the racetrack announcer segment, on the bus, No...Dutch. So glad to find this clip on ytube props the O.P

Phones and other cheap microphones compress the bass in recordings otherwise it will completely drowns out everything else
