    I know old video, but I just changed them out to same bulbs on civic si and was surprised how dim they are. I almost prefer stock bulbs, the color is better but that’s it. Ill Go with HID kit eventually

    What sucks about bulbs like this is obviously the brightness, but they're brighter to other drivers. Also, you will be replacing them within a month or less. My brother installed Piaa Blue/White headlight bulbs into his car & one of the highbeams burned out in the first week, & then one of the bulbs completely burned out all together after only 3 weeks. Piia is supposed to be one the best aftermarket bulbs going. They're all a waste of money for less visibility & shorter life.

    Yes , I put them in my Spyder projector headlights and they worked but nah not very bright. It's not the bulbs as much as it's the sytle headlight I use. I really just need the HID that come on the golf GTI stock but couldn't afford it. BTW LOVE your car and the sound it makes!!!!

    I think you should get a complete HID kit. I put in xenon-filled halogen bulbs in my WRX and it's no better than regular halogen bulbs found in my Prius(only diffrence is when you look at them sideways it's blue). Also I recommend $200+ HID kits, I brought some knock off ones from eBay for $35 that were used(said new on the post)and didn't work at all. They were not road legal so I took them out after 3 days.

    Hey you can look into HID projector kits for your car. I forget the name of the company, but they were selling the entire kit for like $400.00 or so. They are available for my brothers 2001 Lincoln Continental which came with regular non projector halogens. So I'm sure they are or will be available for your ST very soon. You can google aftermarket HID Projector kits or Focus ST Projector kits ect ect. Hope this helps? Nice car man.

    So what is the difference between the 55w and the stage 2 80w?

    • @jasoncamara5869
      @jasoncamara5869 7 років тому

      The 80w bulb is better

    • @outofmind9222
      @outofmind9222 3 роки тому

      80w will melt your connector. Check your cars stock wattage, if you run higher wattage bulbs than stock you need to add a relay

    maybe thinking of theretrofitsource or something? I ended up switching back to stock bulbs one of my Nokya's burned out just before vacation. Also check out this channel for more videos. I might try uploading different videos to both of my channels. One is just for the car and the other one (the one im commenting from) is for random videos.
