One more advantage of Ortofon cartridges is LONG LIFE. I've had my MC20 Super for ... gad, well over 30 years, and it still sings. My best friend has had a Cadenza Black for less time, but it continues to be a treat to listen to, and I suspect it will continue to be so for a while. Worth considering.
Agree with their customer svc. I am pretty sure I destroyed the stylus on a Cadenza Blue with improper use of the stylus guard. They had no issue replacing it. Another time I ordered their "coffee table" book and it came with a crushed corner. They shipped out another copy gratis and rush delivery. US office is a stellar outfit. I was thinking Unami Red when it is time to replace but now you have me thinking --just go up the Ortofon line!
