Amen! Hey guys, new sub here. We do syrup as well but on a lot smaller scale. Just built a new arch this year and put videos up on the build. You guys have a pretty neat setup. - Tim 👍🍁
Interesting evaporator, I must say I have never seen one like this. Great idea! Great explanation and good to see young people enthusiastic about maple sugaring👍

What evaporator? Looks like you have a Smoky Lake valve and float set but not their arch or rear pan?
The back two pans and arch are "Sunrise" but the finishing pan is a Smoky Lake.
So what bag system do you use?
We just use 3 gallon bags and then to gather sap we just go around with buckets and dump what's in the bags into the buckets.
Who makes that trailer that the tanks is on? I’ve been searching for on.
It was made by Ag-chem. Thanks for watching!
How do you keep your pump from freezing?
We drain them after each time we use them.
What model vacuum pump system and releaser?
Airablo Vacuum Pump 5hp Honda
Are you tapping below the main line?
We keep them above the mainline. Thanks for watching!
sap-arater? Steam away?
Sap Raider from Sunrise Metal shop, similar to a Steam Away from Leader.
