G’day from Japan ! Thanks for the review. I just purchased the Batking as well. I have the same issue with the neck rolling away from my hand as I play due to so little width on the guitar body. Also while sitting, there is not enough stability for my liking ether. So, I made a lower wing similar to the Donner Hush X to solve that, and next I will make an attachment to this removable wing to solve the problem of the neck rolling away while standing. I’m planning a trip to the Brisbane area, camping and hiking and such, and if all goes as planned, the Batking will go with me ! Cheers !

Well done and safe travels. If you get down to Adelaide, give me a holler. I can point you to some great wineries etc.

Please do a extensive review especially of the tremolo. Can you dive a fifth down? How extreme before you have to retune?

Yes it can and stays in tune too.

@@texblack88: mine doesn't... Although the sloppy lock leaves enough play on the block to give a light vibrato, and stay in tune LOL 🤣

Fixed this by stealing parts from an Anygig Travel Bass I was never happy with.

Sorry to hear that man, I think it’s great for traveling with small luggage

@@texblack88 It is a great idea. I just never could get it to balance on the strap…the hook arm needs to be 2-3” longer. And the tone requires MASSIVE shaping to even sound like a bass.

@@ScrubDaddy265 Hi John, sorry for the delay in responding. Yes I've even screwed the strap to the back of the heel and it still pitches forward. I agree, it needs an arm of some sort that can rest against the players belly.
