    How do u stop fowl hooking fish in margins

    • @FromTheWatersEdgeTV
      @FromTheWatersEdgeTV  4 роки тому

      There's not a simple answer I don't think John! Sometimes it can be really frustrating, especially if there's alot of fish there! One little thing that might help is feeding 'heavier' baits to try and concentrate the fish on the bottom and not in the water column.

    Why do match anglers have 2 keep nets? I'm a carper myself.

    • @FromTheWatersEdgeTV
      @FromTheWatersEdgeTV  7 років тому +2

      Two different reasons really, one is... you can only put 50lb of fish in each net, so if you catch over 50lb you need two, over 100lb you'd need three etc The second reason is also sometimes you put silver fish in one net and carp in the over.

    Dude, it's your voice it's so powerful, I bet the entire fishery switched off, 🤣
    Seriously though dude DB how loud your voice is and then see if there's a better Mic ya can speak into....... better luck next time 👍

    • @FromTheWatersEdgeTV
      @FromTheWatersEdgeTV  7 років тому +1

      Haha, no worries Tim, thanks for the advice - we don't currently use radio mics so we have to talk a little louder than normal... it's something we're looking into tho. It probably doesnt help as I enhance the audio when I'm editing... if you were there it doesnt actually sound that loud.

    • @FromTheWatersEdgeTV
      @FromTheWatersEdgeTV  7 років тому

      Just standard fishery pellet I think mate. I'll check with Steve for you though.

      Exotics, fish & Shrimp Nice one mate, sounds like a good day! I think you could definitely do that on a pleasure session, always fishes harder when there's a match on though.

    • @sambrumpton3773
      @sambrumpton3773 7 років тому +1

      Yeah less pressure. Are fishing rods allowed on these matches ?👍

    • @FromTheWatersEdgeTV
      @FromTheWatersEdgeTV  7 років тому +1

      Exotics, fish & Shrimp yeah you can fish with whatever you want, the pole is most popular though, especially for the small fish - super accurate and quick.

    • @sambrumpton3773
      @sambrumpton3773 7 років тому +1

      Ok great , I've tried poles but I prefer rods . Are you doing any more videos on catfish or any sort of specimin fishing ?as there my favourite of the channels videos.

    • @FromTheWatersEdgeTV
      @FromTheWatersEdgeTV  7 років тому +2

      Exotics, fish & Shrimp yeah, we'll be doing some more specimen style videos throughout the summer 😊👍🏼

    are you being sponsored by Matrix now Steve?

    • @FromTheWatersEdgeTV
      @FromTheWatersEdgeTV  7 років тому

      Hi Geoff, I wouldn't exactly say sponsored (he doesn't get loads of free tackle) but he does work with them a little bit... however as you'll see from the video he still used a variety of tackle... as in what he thinks is best he'll use, irrespective of whoever makes it.

      My Adventures It was a little bit - it can be hard to concentrate purely on the fishing when you're filming as well!

      You need to hire a cameraman/commentator!

    Well Steve,I think you're either losing your touch or concentrating too much on the filming!!! Very enjoyable though.Terry G.North Wales

    I can't stand Rob Brydon. I know that doesn't seem relevant but his irritating, slimey voice has popped up on every ad-break so far.
