I got this game for christmas, and beat it quickly, but still realy love it. Art, music, plot are all beautiful. The first scene with the hunter will always be my favorite.
I have never played such a moving and relatable game. If you’re thinking about playing it play it. It gave me a new perspective on my life and the lives of others around me 100/10. Like most I cried for a long time at the end
Have you lost a lost your grandchild, have your son adopt a new grandchild who he saved from a fire, and have your son killed by your daughter-in-law who then proceeds to commit suicide? I am very curious what part of this game is in any way relatable…

@Hugo ConquersGames I did. It's unique and a game that's more of an experience which tend to be my favorite games overall. I was a little confused at times but eventually came to realize what was going on. Some of the metaphor I didn't care for but it still worked.
Really good game, loved the style and it was paced pretty well. That said, my biggest gripe is the "player is probably too dumb, just say what the story is" monologue at the end. Really took me out of it. I'd say a solid 7.5/10, maybe 8/10 if i'm feeling generous. It'd probably be a light 9/10 if it trusted the player's ability to connect the dots on the story.
Checked this out because Super Rare Games just dropped a physical copy like an hour ago and it’s already almost sold out. Guess I’ll pick one up then if the praise is pretty good.
@@normalguycap I don’t think the tense moments were anticlimactic at all. They were awesome imo. And I played like a year and a half ago so I do t remember super well, but while playing it is very thought provoking and at the end I was still thinking about how everything connected and what everything symbolized.
Theory: the giant entity that we saw the night give the sparks, is the rude mom that the girl has. and the man that we are playing as is the girls father and the miniature entities represent the tears that the mom shed while in depressing moments. I don’t really know anything about the night, though.
The story made me think something bad happened to the developer. The end is very very sad. I came to the conclusion that a couple lost their child, but the father also saved another child. The child/girl he saved saw that this couple wasn't behaving normal. The mother couldnt let go of the lost child and wanted both the farther and the mother to commit suicide so they all could join each other on the other side.

Just depends on who's available and what's available to review. Think the only thing we really haven't covered on 3MR is big strategy games, but that's pretty much impossible to do in 3 minutes.
There is a tragedy that binds all three story lines together, and someone in the real world could have experienced something similar. Just imagining it happening to my loved ones was enough to make me tear up at the end of the story, I'm glad they treated those issues seriously.

at the ending i cried till my eyes turned bloodshot, this is by far one of the best games that i have ever played in my entire life.
