I second this. As a guitar and bass player myself, it’s simple guitar riffs and very intricate and complex. Songs like The New where the bass is just fucking growling in the background, that shit gives me chills everytime I listen.
I learned the drums through Rock Band and now I'm using Rocksmith and Songsterr for the bass. Great track for beginners who are no longer complete noobs; it's intense, fun, and challenging only on specific parts. Cool upload!!
This song comes up on my playlist & I’m paying attention to the bass line. *runs to UA-cam for tabs* 🏃🏽♀️ I’m still kind of amateur but this is now on my list to learn. Thank you & subbed 😊
Hey question for you. How do you manage the timing during the pause for the guitar solo? I’m trying to record over the drum track and not sure how to get the timing right
@@NewPoliticians Thanks for responding! Yes, exactly. My son plays the guitar part and we use the youtube drum track. When the drums stop he starts the guitar solo and then i come in on the bass. We never get the timing right to line up with the drum track when it comes back in. Obviously the key is to use a metronome, correct? I've watched your video dozens of times, very motivational!
the outro is my favorite part
I think that the outro or coda is everyone's favorite part. It makes the whole song stand out.
I think the outro for “the new” is goddamn amazing
My all time favorite outro to a song
The bass carried this album
The bass is perfect but so is everything else
Nananana my friend, the album carried the album , the whole band

Do you mean the section where the drums cut out?
