Man those are gorgeous blades, truly works of art. Not sure which one I want yet. I already have a few ring knives and I really love how the SVM looks. What would you call that hook at the end of the handle, a pommel?
They are truly functional works of art!
I would call it an Eagle’s Beak style retention hook and pommel

Dude... just wanted you to know I'm watching this vid again for I think the 10th time now and I still can't decide which handle I want to get, and I have 6 hours to make up my mind. Ha!
Bro get both 😂 hahahaha kidding… or am I?? I am starting to lean towards the ring!🤯 with the angle of the handle it feel very comfortable
From carrying it around the hook is a little pointy into the side the ring is more rounded and easier/comfortable to hide
@@tacticaltavern I really shouldn't get both but I might. Functionally I prefer the ring, but that rear bolster/hook just speaks to me and I think it really goes with the Jolly Roger engraving theme. It might be a coin flip for me.
After watched your vid, I ordered the black/od on last week's drop. I have a question and email compliance edge but no response! Maybe you or your followers can explain - What does SVM stands for?
I asked him and i’m pretty sure it stands for “Shank-ya Very Much”

I especially appreciate he took extra step in polished out the machine finish on the SVM and yet left the machined marks on other style. Yoni is a true craftsman and designer!
