One of the things that makes her the greatest is that she could sing ANY STYLE. Dixieland, Swing, Ballads, Blues, Torch, Easy listening, Jazz, and a tad of Rock and Roll, and anything else I might have forgotten.
I spoke to Hugh Martin about this song. Before she went on stage for this Command Performance song, she asked Mr. Martin how she should perform it. Hugh said he told Judy to follow her own instincts. He then said to me "From your pupils, you shall be taught." Judy did a wonderful performance. I think it is with the Tommy Dorsey orchestra.
Put any song in the care of Judy Garland and you've got a classic hit!

Never heard this before.
Thanks.
I miss her so.
I kissed her once. It's my "claim to fame" .
A real hidden treasure. Judy Garland's voice was untouchable in the mid 1940s.
I haven't listened to this in ages. Judy, you rock it out with this song!
