tbh both were in the wrong. The motorist in the truck legally has to give way to the cyclist due to the zipper merge. However, cyclist can also be seen in the wrong for some things. Firstly not indicating to help other drivers (may do it but you can't see from the camera angle) to change lanes and also not properly checking to see if it was clear. So overall cyclist in the wrong for not indicating and checking to help other drivers but truck is also in the wrong as he has to give way.
legally the cyclist was in the right buuut he could easily have been way safer about it. and the car drivers mistake is understandable. both are in the wrong

Regarding the cyclist, not sure about in the country where it was filmed but in Canada it would be illegal for the biker to be riding in the bus lane. Second, he did not indicate that he was going to change lanes once the barriers appeared and the bus lane ended. The cyclist isn't entitled to just merge whenever he wants, sure the truck could of let him in but I believe its his fault

In Britain, it very much is legal to cycle in the bus lane, as it is for motorcyclists, taxis, and busses as well. In fact, he has a legal right to every lane on that road provided it's the furthest left lane *that gets him where he wants to go.*
Furthermore, it *is* legal in areas of Canada to cycle on the bus lane, but maybe not your province.
Now, that doesn't excuse the sudden unindicated merge. To be fair, though, it is a zipper merge and the driver is supposed to give way there. Of course, it was moronic of him to not check for traffic before merging and the incident is thus at least partially his fault.

But in the latest clip the car driver clearly did blow a stop sign. If you're clearly in the wrong, drive with your phone in hand and still can flip a bird to the biker, then you deserve the karma...
