I just tried this method and it was absolutely atrocious: the colors are all washed out when broadcasting over twitch and the camera feed has a horrific amount of latency. Do yourself a favor and stream your games through OBS-it's more costly, sure, but that's the price you pay to ensure that your viewers have a quality experience.
hey so i have a mouse called the Naga pro and it has numbers on the side but they stopped working on xbox but they still work on my computer i was gonna see if you know a way to fix it because i like to click numbers on my mouse to switch thru stuff instead of trying to do it on my keyboard while moving and other stuff please lmk and thank you
im hooked up my sony a7iii to my xbox using a camlink 4k (different brand), and i can get the video to show up on screen from my camera but its always cropped in (black bars around all sides) and has the camera info on screen still (iso / file type / etc... ), any idea whats causing this? your video shows up full screen on tv without the camera info.... please and thanks
@@TheCatnipCinema It took me a while to get mine to work. What the uploader doesn't mention is that you need to press the dashboard button on your controller, cycle over to your streaming settings, and toggle your camera to "on." From there you'll want to change the overlay settings so you can see a live preview of your camera feed-just make sure you have a game running otherwise your live preview won't load. If your camera feed won't appear, try downscaling your camera's "HDMI" settings to 1080 and see if that works. That being said, this particular setup is a nightmare when you actually get everything up and running, because the imagery shown in this video won't reflect what your viewers will see on Twitch. It strains the hell out of your eyes and doesn't look good at all.
Because my DSLR shows up on PowerCam but then the twitch stream always crashes as soon as I switch to my game. Stream works without the DSLR connected to the Xbox
@@justinh9814 try to change your cameras output, it could be sending a 4k signal which can cause some bandwidth issues, try setting your camera to 1080p and it should help.
@@justinh9814 did you end up fixing this? The exact same thing is happening to me with my Canon Rebel T6i. Cam shows up great in PowerCam but as soon as I switch to a game while streaming in Twitch, Twitch crashes and my video never shows up either, even though it recognizes the camera in the broadcast settings. My Twitch streams don’t crash once I unplug the Cam Link 4k, so same exact thing. Made sure my camera’s output is at 1080p… struggling to figure out how to solve this. @TruePlatform
I figured it out and have been streaming for a couple weeks now what you need is a camera with clean HDMI output I went with Canon M200 mirror less camera and it works great !
Update on this video by any chance bro? I have a canon m50 with some prime lenses i wanna use for streaming on my series S but can u tell me what exactly i need bro. Thanks 🔥💪🏽
Hang out peeping homies videos
Bruh your shooting a whole movie with that camera 😂😂
Thanks for this - Im getting into streaming and didn't want to buy all this additional crap even though I had a DSLR - Helped a lot!
Can you please explain your setup?
You think it would work without the cam link? Just usb from camera to Xbox?
Hey, so I’m using a canon rebel T7 and a capture card. DOESN’T WORK (No picture in camera box). What should I do? Any suggestions?
Wait. Camera Hdmi out to what wire to Xbox?
Yea this shit doesn’t work. Thanks for helping me waste money 😁
Do I just need cam link or capture card as well ??

Cool
When I plug in webcam on xbox my stream gets laggy but when I unplug my webcam it's not laggy, please help
I been scavenging UA-cam for this information right here!
You think there’s a workaround to plugging in an iPhone to be able to stream , instead of a webcam?
What’s the app on Xbox called
perfect
Hey can you make a video how to get everything set up please🙏🏽
Sure! I know I've been slacking but I have some things including a full video explaining this in the future with real edits.
What camera set up are you using?
Sony a6600, w/ 35mm 1.4/f Sigma Art Lens.
Links are in description.
Do I need the cam link 4K?
Yeah i know right, because they’re $100
I haven't tried any cheaper capture cards, but as far as I know the camlink is the best choice
Do I need Power Cam for this to work?
Nope, I only used PowerCam as a demonstration. So its plug n play off the bat! Cheers.
@@TruePlatform it doesn't work at all for me sadly
But maybe I'm doing something wrong. I have an Xbox one
