To anyone complaining about hunting over a Baited Field then you haven’t hunted much or had much luck. One of the reasons for hunting is bringing back Venison. When I lived in Texas we hunted pigs on Baited Fields with corn. It takes lots of work to keep the feeder filled with corn and clim a tree with a tree stand. Most people don’t have a clue how much work is involved to bring home the Bacon.
@@robertcoleman9225 I didn’t mean all of my hunting was over a baited field. I mainly hunted feral hogs in Texas and that was the best way to bring home the beacon. I did still hunt and stalking too but I had my four wheeler 100 yards away and I needed it to bring home a 200 lb.hog. Ironist one way of hunting, not the only way.
One season I had 2 different hunts where coyotes came in on me.the one walked right under the tree I was in.i let him pass by then pulled my bow.he actually turned around and looked right at me.bolted just out of range stoped a stared back at me.i guess that's why they call them Wiley coyotes...
Be careful, I knew a guy that waited an awful long time in a tree stand for game. He nodded off. When he woke up a huge buck was real close to him. He was drowsy, grabbed his bow and turned to take the shot and stepped off the tree stand. He hurt himself bad enough that he could not get up. He laid there for several days before a friend and sheriff rescued him. He recovered from several broken bones and dehydration. He did still hunt alone afterwards, but bought a better tree stand.
Very cool. Years ago I had a albino skunk walk right past my stand. I was thinking that would be cool to have it mounted but I was hunting with a 12ga slug so I let him go.
Real . I never have filmed . What u showed = most hunts . Bow , mostly watching , anyhow . Still try ta go , old n bummed up . Lv my Mathews bow . . Don't pay attention ta negative opinions . Do what u like , it's your time . Stay safe
We use our phones to mark stand locations, check wind directions, pin deer patterns and signs on our property, and of course... play games in the stand! 🤟
That was cool to see the coyote walk past; you know you're part of the landscape when the wariest animals pass by...! I don't know which is the slyest: turkey or deer, but predators are high on the list, as well...! God bless ALL of us! WWG1WGA
Side note: The number of hunting trips in which I saw ZERO quarry FAR OUTWEIGH the handful of trips in which I actually spotted the target species. The number of times I actually brought home the game are fewer still...! Never stopped me from trying, though!
Hunting on the ground is the ultimate hunt. It’s not even close. Try it and u will see. I will never forget my first buck in the ground. I’ve was there for about 2 hrs and in the low 20’s it walked straight to me like he was going somewhere not paying attention I thought i couldn’t get my bow back, back then 50% let off was it I had a PSE Mach 4 with recurve limbs I was shooting 70 lb pull and I was hoping he would turn and by god he did perfect broadside shot the Muzzy blew through him like tissue paper a blind man could find the blood trail he dropped about 30 yards dead as a hammer. Then all of a sudden it started pouring snow I was shaking like a dog shitting peach seeds I always got that way after the shot not before for some reason adrenaline dump they say. When u staring face to face is a total different ballgame sitting 25 ft in a tree stand. Try it! U might like it I always did. But I did carry a pistol just n case something happened.357 mag rather be safe then sorry.Good Luck! 🍀
That’s an awesome story and sounds like a heck of an experience man! Thanks for sharing. I’ve never had any luck from the ground, hopefully this coming season we can change that!
@@Tolook Yea! Give it a whirl it’s a total different game. U gotta stay still and find the biggest tree u can find to hide against.ive had bob cats skunks squirrels coyotes walk right up against me and of course deer it’s a lot more exciting that’s for sure, I never cared for heights much I relax better on the ground.
Good video , I am subscriber 162 ! Looking forward to more hunting videos ! I hunt coyotes for the local ranchers where I live as well as being a shotgun instructor !…….
Thank you Thomas! I appreciate you for subscribing! There will defiantly be more hunting content coming out soon so stay tuned! It would have been cool to get that Coyote for sure, we have never gotten one before!
HUNTING OVER A BAIT SIGHT IS CHICKENSHIT HUNTING. IT HARDLY TAKES ANY REAL SKILL ST ALL. ITS ABOUT THE CLOSEST THING TO A " CANNED HUNT" YOU WILL FIND.
@@Tolook ok but think about it, is it really fair baiting to hunt them? It’s much different than being out in deep woods and waiting for them. What you’re doing is like hunting on a deer farm. Either way, good luck anyway.
Dude, this is the most real hunting video I think I've ever watched. Great job.
I appreciate that! Thank you for watching!

It is not legal in ohio. If I had to hunt that way I would stay home.

Oh man that would be really scary! We take all the safety precautions that we can but there is always a risk when climbing a tree for sure.
The Great Outdoors and monster squirrels! So real buddy, great video and narration. Most people don't have the patience to do what you do.
Thank you! I am glad you liked the video! We are going to try to keep it as real as we can!

Yes Patrick does

if the coyote is out in broad daylight he is hungry
Yes! This Coyote was following a trail some does had walked hours earlier that day!

There is another UA-camr, the coyote called Weave is on his page and is like a pup to him. Don't shoot it if in his area.
I looked up Weave! That is crazy!!
Been hunting for 50 years and have never ambushed animals for the hunt
I was very bored. It would have been exciting if it were a wolf.
A wolf would have been pretty awesome to see as well!
Rain? You;re lucky you weren't cooked. You should get inside your Faraday Cage vehicle at the first sign of high voltage overhead.
Ambush is not hunting.
Your opinion is like your ass hole stinks and nobody wants it
You talk too much
Noted. Thank you for the feed back!

Hunting includes stalking ,staying up wind , this is ambushing ,I’d say that you are a provider but not really a hunter . Nothing wrong with that .
Gee it's so good you have a keen eye for the obvious . You win a cookie .
Did not care for this video
I’m sorry to hear that! What would you have liked to see done differently?
This is ( Real ) hunting , if you didn’t like it then you are not a hunter ! You should probably take up ping pong or something !…….
Big waist of my time watching this !
I’m sorry to hear that! What could we have done differently to improve the video?
In Idaho it's not called hunting on bait it's called poaching.
Hunting near feeders is illegal
We hunt in South Carolina where it is legal to hunt over feed
