In your opinion, why are struggling to draw? I don’t get how people come on UA-cam giving advice over your opinion when you literally just had your first bow kill 1 year ago when other have been hunting for let’s say 30 years.

Quick tip go your local bow shop and ask for rollers from trophy ridge gives you a smoother draw and wont eat yout calbes as bad

Don’t forget TP because being without that sock is gets mighty cold! ( but honestly probably the best advice I’ve ever been given is tracking advice. Remember this. Deer will always go to the thickest of cover. They will even go to falling down tree stumps and notice. How Deer always 95% of the time go back to where they came from because that way was safe before ! That is helped me recover deer so many times

Me personally, I just started getting clothes from Sitka. I went with the stratus pants and jacket. I hunt central Pa where we haven’t had any super cold weather yet. I hunted 37 degree morning with 15 mph winds and didn’t feel a thing. All I ran underneath was an under armor coldgear shirt and long John’s. The wind doesn’t get through at all it’s crazy. I also went with the fanatic bibs first for my late season set. I haven’t had a chance to use them yet cause you could easily hunt with the stratus stuff to probably 27-28 degrees with ease. I’ll probably get the fanatic jacket later for January hunts. Honestly you could also just throw a standard sweatshirt under the stratus and be almost as warm. Next year I’ll probably go with the equinox pants and fanatic hoodie for early season.

Really though the best advice I’ve gotten is just be patient, I know people probably hear it and hear it all the time but patience does wonders.

Hunt with your ears. Squirrels, Bluejays and other birds will call like crazy when they’ve stumbled across white oaks and acorns.

To show respect to the property you hunt as well as the wildlife that walks it and give thanks to Jesus Christ for giving you the opportunity to be in his creation and thank the animal you harvest for giving it’s life for you and your family.
