There was a post on Mumsnet from a woman who went to see his standup just before he got popular in the US. She went backstage & said it was made crystal clear by his staff that if you stayed, he was looking for hook ups & you were welcome to leave if that wasn't what you had in mind too. She thanked them & left. A few other posters also commented they'd had the same experience.

@@Azmarith I didnt say it was wrong. I said his staff made it clear that any women going backstage would be propositioned. So: they were clearly given that info upfront, and they could then choose whether they stayed or not. Obv his staff were aware re the issues his famous libido could lead to if the more naive fans didnt factor that in, when going to meet him.

People seem to forget with Kim that Aggie stopped working with her after Kim physically assaulted her. It's just non stop drama with her.
aggie mcKensie came up with the idea for how clean is house with her husband and business partner. he cleaning company had taken off and aggie mckensie wanted persue other interests for her cleaning company. so her husband contacted tv companies and put a contract together. the tv companies then suggested that she needed a side kick and after a long look they found kim woodburn. woodbun was mckensie said a very difficult person to handle. but they were never friends. just for tv, Aggie mckensie made a ton of money out of her business. once they brought the show to america aggie mckenzie knew the show had run its course

By all means criticise their voices, but for Simon Cowell to have a go at the girls' physical appearance was way too far.

I mean they seemed pretty young they probably saw it as a way to get into the industry…production house probably knew that seasoned veterans would never touch the show. Just a thought.

Ambition is not an excuse for depravity, and perhaps we should be a little more respectful to those who 'haven't made it' seeing as they're likely the ones who weren't willing to sell their grandma to get ahead.

I'm sorry, but I really don't see how is David a bully. He was screwed. It's impressive that no one else made 'derogatory' comments but why were these comments leaked on a first place? People say it doesn't matter if it was private, but It's like I'm telling my friends what I'm thinking about someone I'm never gonna see again and suddenly it's on the tabloids. Everybody talks like him sometimes. Maybe not in the exact same manner but everyone's said something not that polite about someone else. Maybe a bunch of people in this world are perfect enough not to do so but we often forget celebrities, even the most beloved ones, are just regular people who were lucky enough to become famous and rich. And nobody knows if there was a special trigger for David that day or it was just one of those days when we get a bit bitter or salty. He deserves to have his private life like everyone else. He might appear holly jolly all the time but people are kinda treating him like Marlin from Finding Nemo. He's a clownfish so he must be funny. That clownfish went through a devastating trauma, he's not just his title. Plus I would never think of David Walliams as someone who went through such a severe depression he tried to unalive himself multiple times. He's a funny, often ridiculous, almost histrionic, but in a healthy way, friendly and nice person. How could that have happened? He busted himself multiple times to help people living in misery, mostly children. I don't think any egotistical person is abled to put themselve through what he put himself through, just to show off. Even I don't like all of his jokes but that doesn't make him unfunny. He might not be right for every role but in the right character, he's a hell of an actor. Reading his books, I see childlike sensitivity combined with the life experience of an adult. Seeing his campiness as offensive is just sad. I grew up in the 90's blindly believing I'm straight just because it was a horrible thing not to be. Some people might not know what it's like to grow up in a mainly homophobic patriarchy, but I do. And he went through that as well. Watching this huge straight man using my "weakness" as a weapon against his own bullies, makes me feel safe, accepted and appreciated as a human being. I'm sorry but he's much more than a couple of unpleasant comments. As a child of poverty, a victim of domestic violence for 25 years, being bullied by children as a child and by adults as an adult I'd say he is too far from being a bully, a terrible person or someone deserving to be on that list.

I don't know if Giovanni is guilty or not but it's pretty nasty to put him on the list when nothing is proven.
There is obviously enough evidence out there on him, and if 3 professional women come out against him, and one left part way through the show. He is more or less bang to rights. And it looks like 2 more have doen similar stuff too.

In an anvversary program to blue peter, sarah Greene said that every one in the office was terrified of biddy baxter. and the running click of her heels meant that biddy had arrived. there was no smoking rule in the office and the female secretaries were strict instructions to be very quiet while she was in the office. all the talking stopped when she came into the room
First of all, in Giovanni Pernice's case, it is always the Mail and Express quoting a "source that told THE SUN" for pity's sake.
It would not surprise me at all if Gio originally asked people NOT to back him up for Amanda's sake.
More and more people ARE backing him though, and all four Strictly judges have now stepped up to help with his teaching sessions in the full knowledge knowledge that actions speak louder than words.
BS, 3 women including her have come out about his actions, and some are taking out lawsuits, wake up and smell the coffee, as they say....a wolf in sheeps clothing I bet, and now 2 other guys from the show have been thrown off for similar stuff. The BBC should have been on this, espec in the wake of Saville.
I am really disappointed in Mojo for spreading what at the moment are unsubstantiated comments about an amazing person whose 'crime' appears to be only that of pushing someone to be able to give of their best. Everyone who signs up for Strictly ought to know exactly what they are getting into. It appears that Amanda just couldn't cut it. And, frankly, enlisting other women to climb on her 'I was wronged' bandwagon doesn't make her look good either. In our family, Giovanni is 100% "Innocent of any wrongdoing until proven guilty". It's what ALL of us deserve in a decent and respectful society.

I've just read Zara Mcdermot was hit & kicked by her Strictly partner & also lost 3 toenails from training. Horrific. Why did the production crew who reported him at the time only show the footage they had of it , to bosses 1 year after their verbal report, is the bigger question.
So Giovanni Pernice is now labelled a bully with no evidence or proof, only the say-so of some disgruntled former partners who said nothing at the time.

I could have a different perspective as an Australian but the information we recieved is that there was the appearance of possible grooming. He met the young man whilst in high school and took on the role of mentor in some ways. It appears he helped the young fellow get the job so there were questions of a breach of his fiduciary duties - I hear your points, they were adults at the time, but the power imbalance goes back to when he was a minor

@rockstar-5934 The staff who worked around him said he was a male Ellen. Considering they are both gay, I will leave it to you to work that one out. Basically he was an egotistical bully according to his runners/floor crew etc. HW was no angel either.
I think the inclusion of Gio is premature the bbc investigation is still ongoing so even tho he has left the bbc did state he could come back. So perhaps a new edit of this video is needed. This could be seen as libel until the report is published. They are allegations of bullying just now.

People hate David Walliams because he did Little and that, which were funny.
It was an awful programme that constantly punched down at minorities and the poor. Also, Matt Lucas hasn't suffered such a backlash since Little Britain ended, possibly because he's atoned to a greater degree than Walliams.
That said, I've still yet to see any compelling evidence that Walliams is such a truly toxic person behind-the-scenes. I'm not arguing that he's innocent, but so far his private exchanges don't strike me as terrible as actually bullying someone to their face, so to speak. What someone doesn't know won't hurt them, and the person who leaked the nasty exchanges is just as responsible for any harm caused to the victim as Walliams is for making those comments in *private*

simon cowell has never pretended to be anything other that a world-class jerk so his inclusion on this list is no surprise. Piers is far from being the worst though the fake trump interview incident was something I didn't know about and kind of surprised me. I used to kind of like brand because I share most of his left politics but his on-stage presence comes off as so shrill I can't stand to watch him anymore. Blue Peter is a sailing flag. It's a kids show been on for donkey's years, and Urban Dictionary isn't making it as bad as I thought.
Blue Peter is a UK institution. It's still going, I don't know about kids these days but BP was a must watch. So many kids over the Years have tried to be a BP badge (Google it...for kids it's a big achievement) and don't think it stops there. There even gold BP badges! Even the Royal family get awarded them. Don't think they probably take much advantage of the free entry to tourist attractions that you get if you have a badge.
Simon Cowell is Nepo Baby #1. His father gave him his first job in the recording industry as an A&R man. He is also known for *rejecting* the Spice Girls. He wouldn't know a great artist if their songs were broadcast directly into his brain. He's a spectacular idiot and seems to relish the opportunity to show that every single day.

Agreed. I do think there needs to be a thorough investigation into his behaviour before he is allowed back on the TV screens, but right now, I'm not really sure what crime he's committed. His behaviour was inappropriate, but it's not clear to me that he 'groomed' anyone. Maybe he exploited the employer-employee dynamic with a man who was several years his junior but as I say it's not clear that he groomed that man when they first met (when the latter was a minor).
He groomed the guy then lied about to the British Public he was nasty to staff as was his sidekick thick Holly Ruth Langsford reported him for his behaviour thought he was untouchable

Disagree with David Walliams being on that list. He had a great Bond with Simon on screen but Simon made life very hard for him off screen. Getting Fired from the show had a terrible detrimental effect on David and threw him back into a deep depression.
