One of my favourite producers for over 20 years now. I wish he would make tunes like he did around 2006-2013.. he says in this interview that he has moved on and continues to progress, and I understand that. But there are old school fans like myself who loved that brief period in drum and bass which he was at the very forefront.. you can’t get it like that anymore. So Tim you really should put out occasional songs of that old style for us who know and love it. Even put out some of the unreleased songs from that era.
21:50 im 16 and it is so annoying to play a music track with just one and a half minute long intro only for people to call it trash 20 seconds later and force change track without my permission in public settings so i just play songs with shortest intros so they wont get bored and swtich off to their bad music taste
@@igork3024 hm, okay. What you think about his current releases? Honestly, fav is platnium scatter. Also, clownstep sounds kinda out of place to be considered electronic. That’s just my guess.
I'm so happy to see a proper, full-length interview with Tim! It makes me feel like i'm on the right path.. thanks so much!
:) greetings from USA
What a person to be interviewed by... "that must Have been a challenge"... Or was it growth?
own every single album/LP/EP/single of CV; his production is insane up there with flying lotus, god level prod quality and sound engineering

Best producer in the world! The end 😎
I couldn't choose between Current Value and Former
It SHOULD BE TUNNEL VISION MATE. EVERY TRACK YOU CREATE IS GODLIKE. I like your old style and new style, never change CV. :-)
The funniest thing from this interview is that Tim knows Lucio De Rimanez & Proket but the interviewer doesn't
This interview is amazing. Thank you so much, I am a big fan of him
I’ve been a fan of CV ever since #SteeleGray 🫡🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁

Sadly CV is on clownstep wave these days.
What is clownstep?
@@MrPDTaylor sort of jump up. Modern jump up.
Was, is platnium scatter clown step?
@@VrantusOfficial you can call all clowstep which has wobble style basslines. "That Smile" is good example.
