Hi all, this was reuploaded due to a previous upload error. I thought I'd try out dragging the file to upload as it was rendering, turns out this method DOES NOT WORK and the last 8 minutes didn't upload. That's why this was uploaded again 3 hours after the initial upload which I removed. Sorry about the inconvenience before.
Getting ??? in the jackpot doesn’t give you his phone number and you automatically lose which results in insulting you. Losing in the jackpot insults you. Winning in the jackpot insults you. *Well played, virus, well played.*
Isn't that flashback like Time Machine for mac? If you delete a file, you can go back to an earlier backup. It was really promoted in the leopard days, but not so much now. But I'm pretty sure you can still use it today.
Norton Ghost does that! You can make automatic backups of your entire drive (if you have the space) and Norton Ghost will be available from the bootloader if you want to re-image your whole system to that older backup (or any image you have prepared, really).
I know why cant they let do Danocto1 let himself do the work and destroy with Jerusalem virus or whatever. (The Jerusalem virus is a real virus look it up!)
Diana: "Someone, Develop Snapshots in Windows!" MS: "We can't because of our enemy!" Apple: "That's right! Now, you may NEVER rip off our time machine app!" VMW: "But WE dit it!"
Hmm, I feel that when you have her do stuff on OSes like this where there's some required knowledge, it might be good to have a little physical cheat sheet of commands ready. Something like a little list of commands. Or explain that there's a 'help' command beforehand, I suppose!
"Snapshot thing" = Time Machine on mac. The latter one works very well actually, saved my OS X 10.12 installation after upgrading to 10.13. And System Restore as you said.
I used DOS for nearly 8 years in the 90s and I’m seeing all these viruses for the first time. I never ran anti virus software back in the day and was constantly downloading shareware and pirated software from local underground BBSes; so I guess it was a modern miracle that I never once got infected. The only thing I considered an infection was having windows 3.1 installed ; which had a nasty habit of stealing all my valuable HDD space.
Danooct1 must see this... So he will learn a lesson that he no longer needs real computer with DOS to show DOS viruses He can just make a virtual machine with MS DOS
The enhanced snapshots you were talking about already existed in the past. You could have made them with Windows SteadyState. It doesn't get updated anymore, though.
Hi, what is the initial music at the beginning? I love it and have also heard it elsewhere so would really appreciate it if you could link it or give a name. Thanks in advance.
19:05 there actually are windows snapshots since, I think windows xp? If you go into the windows recovery environment on a windows 7 install disk, you will see a option to restore from a previous point, in other names, a snapshot!
System restore in windows doesn't work exactly like the snapshot idea we were talking about. It's much slower and often doesn't even work the way you'd expect in many cases.
19:10 Windows already has this feature in control panel. its called "Backup and Restore (windows 7)" Also there is software like "Deep Freeze" that revert the computer's state upon restart, this is mostly used in businesses.
non virtual machine snapshots do exist on windows, but you need another hard drive and a program that i forgot the name of to do it, it will just copy all of your disc (including your boot loader) to the new disc, then when you need to go back to that snapshot just plug in the new disc and set the bios to boot to that instead
There are system restore points. If you want to go back in time, you can make a system restore point and if you get a virus, you can go back in time, but it doesn't work for all viruses. It's kinda like snapshots 😂
Yea, but system restore isn't perfect, it's a long process and doesn't always work the way you want it to. We need a Flashback mode in Windows 10. A "moment" is automatically created whenever the computer is booted and you can flash back to any of the previous 15 moments. Seriously, that's the ultimate solution to viruses.... Problem solved!
@@OsFirstTimerthe only issue I see with this is...the moment has got to be stored somewhere in the drive. If the virus destroys the drive then how would it work?
IM BEFORE VICTOR TRAN! :O Yes i know Victor Tran commented before on the failed upload but still. you uploaded again and that reset comments! so it counts
Hey OSFirstTimer, you're AstralPhaser. If you are, Nice Videos! I think we've met on Discord before! If we haven't............ then Nice Videos! Keep up the Good Work!

Hey OSFirsttimer! Nice video! I really like your vids. Keep it up :D and say Hi for your mum for me :D
Okay, that's fine!
I thought something was wrong with my browser
"I wish it burnt all my fat"
You aren't the only one, Diana.... you aren't the only one...
18:46 That's a feature on Mac, it makes backups daily to an external hard drive.
Oh, neat. I never knew about that.
I mean you can use restore points
also on windows (System Restore)
All Usernames Taken iCloud Backup also lets you restore from multiple backups when restoring a device.
All Usernames Taken Time Machine
Diana: *"Your Whole Mind is Gone."*
Me: *And so are your files but VM Ware saved you..*
Your mum is full of energy and are fun to watch. Keep it up!😃
"help" is a good command if you don't know what to do, Diana.
Oktalon Szórádi she didn't know help was a command. she needed your help.

I was going to say something then I looked at your name.

We are talking about the whole state of a computer, not just your files. Kinda like when you click "save state" on a console emulator.
Norton Ghost does that! You can make automatic backups of your entire drive (if you have the space) and Norton Ghost will be available from the bootloader if you want to re-image your whole system to that older backup (or any image you have prepared, really).
Q-bert was a really good game, I loved it, but it was complicated
you still can

Yes
A cool idea for these destroying OS videos would be to have Diana make her own virus!
She would get in trouble for that!
@@xofluapmailrl She won't! Making your own virus is a common thing ethical hackers do, to demonstrate.

Mum sets up dualboot for windows 10, mac and linux.
then it would be a triple-boot

That would be triboot..

LMAO I love how people keep snitching on u for the henkaku enso thing
I like how Diana looks at the monitor while smiling 😃
Your idea of flashbacks is like time machine on macOS or even just backing up your computer in general.
"Destroying ms dos with viruses"

MSDos is like navigating a computer in the dark.
MS-DOS is my text based friend, Not only am I familiar with it, the viruses for it are pretty interesting.

The enhanced snapshots you were talking about already existed in the past. You could have made them with Windows SteadyState. It doesn't get updated anymore, though.
Actually, Linux Mint is supposed to have "Timeshift" which it basically a snapshot thing like in VMWare
Hi, what is the initial music at the beginning? I love it and have also heard it elsewhere so would really appreciate it if you could link it or give a name. Thanks in advance.
That "flashback" idea already exists as Time Machine on Mac, its pretty cool
Hi my name is Andrew thanks for featuring me in one of your videos
Yay ! A video on the start of vacations in France :D !
Diana: Call it "Turn Back Time"

The "8-bit grandma" is a sprite ripped STRAIGHT from a game called Bad Street Brawler

Oh my lord, in the link for this video it says "Ay Boy", when I realised that I was laughing my ass off.
19:08 there is something called system restore in windows 10, and it is like snapshots
It was originally in Windows Me
That taskbar is a friggen nightmare.

the "back-in-time" thing, my mom have it on windows 7 "restore computer".
To explain the casino virus, you should've just said that FAT stands for "File allocation table".
It says where your data IS, not the actual data.
You have the full system backup that will do the snap-shot function quite well. :-)
i just subscribed love your videos PhilipAdams :) hoping i spelt your name right lol
“i just have just destroyed the fat on your disk”
“i wish it destroyed the fat on my thighs”
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
You do know windows and MacOS come with a "Snapshot" feature, its called restore points and Time Machine

what does the del star. star command do?
