A singer has recorded a song that is off the metronome and not on the beat. In some parts, it is faster than the tempo, and in others, it is slower. It is not aligned with a specific tempo. Is there a quick way to fix this in Logic pro x and make the entire region match a constant tempo?
In this video, I demonstrate how to make external loops adapt to your Logic project tempo, using one simple change to Logic's Smart Tempo Settings. Enjoy! There has been an issue with drum machine designer kits - 808 flex, beyonf and above and so on… I tried reinstalling logic, tried re-downloading and installing the sound library (Manager), but nothing works… Please help… Logic freezes when I click to load the drum machine designer kit
Can you do a video on how to time stretch vocals to the tempo of your track? It’s easier if I know the bpm of the original track I stemmed the vocals from. But more tedious if I don’t.
I am struggling so much as a song writer not using midi to get my guitar and bass playing to be as precise as I want it. Trying to use the timing tools (quantizing, time stretching, latency settings, grid snapping, etc.) joften throws me and my projects off. I get so frustrated sometimes I just quit. I know you have covered these issues before, but maybe revisit for 11? Maybe from a work flow standpoint? When to use stretching vs quantizing etc. I seem to get the other stuff (mixing, gain staging, eq-ing) just fine. I could really use insights into fixing rhythm acoustic guitars when building up from improvised sketches. Would be very interested in fresh approaches to workflows or just a deeper dive into time tools.
Great video. I'd love to see a tutorial of how to create 70s/80's funk/soul muted guitar licks (Jones Girls - Nights over Egypt) & rhythm guitars (Chic - I want your love) using Logic VSTs. Thanks. See you on the Friday live!

Try changing the buffer size and project sample rate.
Is your Logic cracked?
