Find The Gourmands' Key Fragment According to a note left behind, the Gourmands' leader was driven out for turning on their own. His last known location was a cave East of Bolton Greens on the other side of the mountain.
he wendigo resembles a gaunt, emaciated humanoid with ashy gray skin, long bony arms, a pot belly and a skull-like face topped with scant strands of long, stringy hair. They have large claws on the tips of each finger.
They exhibit similar characteristics to ghouls, such as radiation resistance. They do not engage in combat with ghouls when they're near.
Gameplay attributes
Wendigos are fast and can deal a large amount of damage in a very short amount of time. They get close and can be hard to hit without V.A.T.S. if using a firearm. Wendigos will not run away if the player character climbs onto objects or furniture, but will continue to screech. During combat, wendigos may let loose a piercing shriek that doesn't damage the player but will possibly attract a horde of feral ghouls to their location in fallout 76

Every time I go in there I run into at least 3 Mirelurk Kings and 2 Progenitor Wendigos.
oltep I’m level 23 and there’s two mirelurk kings that just wreck me, it’s not fun lol
Try and keep switching servers till there’s no high level players near you. I noticed that the enemies kept freaking changing because there was always a few super high level players near my area. After changing servers a few times I was finally matched with enemies my level and it was easy to get to the wendigo. But then again, I waited till I was level 20 to do this so if you’re a lower level, you might just need to level up before doing this.
@@55inchSamsungTV True! Enemies lvlup whit players and if you are low level and theres any player at higher level they will levelup whit the higher level and not you. Same for teamgroups if they go whit you helping.
seems to be the default setup. some hidden merluks + 3 merluk kings + 2 elite wenidigos
but it's pretty easy tho. there is a line the merluk kings can't pass, so you just have to dodge their shots and must noch be afraid of their melee

this quest is a joke, you need to complete it to progress the storyline yet I am level 31 and I had to get a level 225 person to help me and we both got downed three times before we killed the two wendigpos that were in there and the four level 62 radioactive mutants..wtf

I hired a “gunner” that’s what the guy called himself.. had to pay 500 caps though it was worth it
Where to hire him
I dont know how these wendigos work with stealth builds but i managed to take down one with some ~5 shots to the head out of stealth with silenced handmade rifle and i didnt even get spotted.
Now, other time i encountered a wendigo, the bastard spotts me immidiately when i shoot him. Go figure?!

So I did this but the stupid Wendigo glitched into the floor, I killed him but the mission was telling me to pick something up underneath the floor -.- haha I'm pissed

Chinese armor or stealth boy all the way to the wendigo. The wendigo is much easier to kill than the mierlurk kings.
I got this quest at about level 15-20 and I tired atleast a good 10 or so times to kill the dude. I decided I was too low of a level so I came back at 35.
I still cant kill the damn thing.
Getting to and killing Kellogg in fo4 was easier

I’m level 23 and manged to kill the mirelurks pretty easy but there’s two mirelurk kings that just wreck me, death after death, shot it 3 times with my missile launcher, didn’t do shit and still died

I’m level 19 and I got passes the mirelurks but I can’t get passed the wendigo!
I tried to use a stealth boy but the wendigo was like ‘I see yo massive ass bitch’
I started it at level like 8 then I couldn’t be bothered to do it now I’m almost level 100 and the only thing I could do is get a mirelurk to attack the wendigo and at the end when they were both low on health I killed them both with a Gatling plasma

The only place that damn wendigo spawns for me is in the roof of the cave so I can't get the fkn thing. I've tried changing servers, even going to my private server, AND IT'S ALWAYS IN THE ROOF ABOVE WHERE IT'S SUPPOSED TO SPAWN. And it's doing my fkn head in 🤣🤪🤪🤪

So irritated because for some reason the wendigo is a level 45 and this one is a level 32 and it’s the same fucking mission, tried this technique and it doesn’t help
