The video definitely doesn’t do this show justice. It was wonderful in person. I don’t think you can compare it to a Cirque show because they offer different experiences; this was a much more thematic and personal show than what I’ve experienced with Cirque.
It’s definitely worth experiencing in person. Every person, from the main cast to the smaller performers, was integral to immersing you in the world presented. The music was divine, and the work done by focusing the lighting on certain spots did a spectacular job at grabbing your attention away from the moving set pieces.
Also, I think I fell in love with the members of the main cast tbh.
