I have an interesting question. Do any of your bones click/pop at all during your workouts?
I also sat down for many years at a computer 8+ hours a day (and continue to do so gaming sometimes) My shoulders and knees are kinda fucked although they have been getting better recently.
You must have some decent bone genetics if you haven't had many problems with your bones my dude!
It's strange because I can curl 30s, but my shoulders barely let me do a pushup with the pain 😂. I have slowly been adding low weight shoulder rehab stuff.
My left knee clicks sometimes, but other than that no. When I first started lifting I got slightly "Crunchy Shoulders" but that cleared up once I started warming my rotator cuffs up before chest or shoulders day. I think the biggest effect all the sitting had on me is my hips. I have SUPER open hips from sitting w/ an automan and my legs naturally turning over (toes/knees pointing outwards). As far as bone genetics...I definitely have Big bones. My collar bone is as big, if not bigger than most ppls femur. Literally about the size of a barbell.
Don't alternate your curls, curl them both at the same time to avoid imbalances and build stronger motor unit connections.
