- Back at it again with another lengthy, comprehensive GGST bridget guide! Re-doing and correcting some wrongs from the first guide and making this one more straight to the point. Leave a like if you enjoy anything!

Really good vid, I have one suggestion tho:
For charged 5D combo:
jH > jump > jH > jS > jP > jH > finish
It does quite a bit more damage

I have spent the last 30 minutes trying to get the 12:20 combo and i was so happy when i finally landed it on training mode!
This is a very well put together video, especially for people like me trying to learn Bridget, it deserves WAAAAAAY more views!

Something of note that I don't really see anyone mentioning is that, when FD'd, the blockstring at 20:00 should changed to j.D>2S rather than j.D>5S.
j.D>5S leaves a ~5 frame gap that can be 6P'd while j.D>2S leaves a 1 frame gap and is a low.
Both strings allow the 214K after the 5S/2S to be 6P's so generally j.D>2S is safer
Most people won't know this, and won't punish it, but it is there and can leave you in a bad spot of your opponent decides to challenge it

I played the heck out of that game as a kid and then I got to the end and saw that you put the name on flip back and there it was dance wars days of ruin. Such a great game.

I main yoyo woman and wasn't too serious prior to season 3 and got frustrated seeing a bunch of guides with stuff that didn't really work anymore! can honestly say just one watch thru upped my game a lot, the okizeme part in particular!

22:50 or so ~ if Baiken kara cancels the parry into super, using 236236P~S, then both meaties and delayed hits (as well as rock the baby) will get countered. you could still be passive and block a super until she stops trying this, though

Fantastic guide. After the huge buff Bridget got in the winter 22 patch, I was concerned about the system wide damage nerfs in season 3. However, I've found that nerfing everyone's damage on supers + other moves has been working out really well for Bridget.
i get that the changes were meant to be universal already but bridget had low damage anyway, so now i gotta 5 touch goldlewis while he murders me in 2 still lol

Yea brisket is cool but nothing can beat doing an airdash with a mist finer and doing the dash but roman cancelling it and getting launched at the speed of light before grabbing the opponent
Any ideas what to do with Shoot on block? Like if you want to spend RRC for a mixup
nowadays what i do is RRC forward and use J.S with varied timings, or just land and 2K. the old days of 50/50ing people with it are gone

Is this still up to date? Want to get into Strive but not sure if there have been any big balance changes/mechanics reworks in the 5 months since this was made.
For Bridget, not much has changed except for 5K > 6K being a gapless string now. Also the combo section is pretty scuffed and incredibly unoptimal.
@@Yahto1337 Combos I can figure out when I'm more comfortable with the game anyway, I just struggle to figure out good buttons/neutral early on, especially in a series I've not played much. Thanks for the reply!
How do you fake an overhead after the second rolling? I can't get an aerial to whiff now that my opponent isnt waking up.
After roll 2, you wanna actually connect with Rolling movement and 50/50 with j.d or 2K. Or grabs ofc
