All those old graves packed together like prehistory condos Wonder how many times they dug a grave and broke into another so close together can hear them snoring the smell would of been horrid indeed.
Not gonna lie……..When you turned around and Sue was just standing there, she was so still and it scared the crap out of me!!😂🤣😂 Another Great Episode!!!! 🪬🩷🧿🪦🧿🩷🪬!
Another good video never disappointed. Did you pick up the signage and throw it in the trash? I don’t think anybody threw that in there I think maybe the wind blew it in or some thing. Keep up the great work.❤
I love the grass that has grown across the top walls of the church. The grass so beautiful....so green just like an emerald...😊😊 thanx for the walk...the cemetary was quite clear....not grown over.❤😊❤😊
Hi Cathal. That was a nice walk-through of the cemetery in County Cork. I can't believe how green that grass was. Beautiful with the ruins of the church and very old headstones. Thanks for reading their names so they are remembered again. Take care, hope you are doing okay. I am thinking of you guys! Love, Janet XO ♥️😘
Beautiful old graveyard, and headstones 🪦 The holding vault and church ruins were very interesting. I think I heard a voice, but my hearing is not what it used to be. Great walking tour, thank you very much GV, and Sue. Take care. 😊
Hi GV, beautiful cemetery, the receiving vaults were to hold the bodies till burial. We dont have to do that today. I am from Alaska, and we got our first snow last .It is snowing now. Have a blessed week .
Great video. I'm from Leesburg, Florida, USA. I love looking at your beautiful green country with the scenery and ancient sites. I've always enjoyed looking at graves even as a child. Graveyards are so peaceful and interesting.
Well Done 👏 fantastic work done. The corporations of each county should be forced to clean up every graveyard & every Grave. Love the history & the Gorgeous gravestones. Fantastic graveyard for School tours etc. Thank You for doing this & making all the fantastic videos. Annette Jacob Dunphy, Waterford
Great video, I am happy for you to take me to these cemeteries that I would never be available to visit on my own. Watching you from the Iron Range in Northern Minnesota USA😊
Nice video GV. Love the old headstones. Can just imagine what was going on in the early and late 1800s. Love how your country is so full of history. Don't get me wrong the US is full of history also, but I love learning about other countries history as well
G'day GV, Awesome wander in the Olde graveyard, I heard a few dis-jointed voices @ about 19:30 with what sounded like "come o' here", there was definitely some kind of energy wafting about you nearing the end of your walk, always a pleasure to hear your comforting words & narrative of the headstones that were laid down so long ago. Take care & God Bless👍👍S.from Oz
When you came across the Scannell name it made me wonder if they were related to the priest that married my husband and I. He is buried in county Cork but not in that cemetery. This is a very nice church and cemetery.
Hi Rich here from Cardiff. Just found your channel and love the content and your complete respectfulness to the cemeteries and graves and crypts you visit.
Another top number video GV,hopefully those signs will be removed soon .needs a little tidying up but overall well kept.Be interesting to enter that holding vault as not all could be seen, safe travels to you both, god bless, from ballarat in Oz.👋👋🙏🙏👍🇦🇺
Kansas, USA . My great grandparents were from the Cork area. Last name Flynn and Carlisle. I love your content and your respect for these people's lives and deaths.❤
My grandad told us about his youth in Ireland than the move to Canada. And them I love watching the UK graveyards from my gran her youth in England and Canada.
Darn but I don't remember the last time I saw grass that lovely shade of green! I'm watching from California so about the greenest I've seen in years is on a golf green! I am enjoying your tour and remarks!
West Lawn Pennsylvania The Marshalls came over from England in 1740 The Gillingham's and The Janneys, There's a wee bit of Irish in us all. FLY TIPPING
I think the commercial signs are covering some hole in the graves. and is for protection so people don't step into there.. Thanks for the tour BTW, I'm in copenhagen Denmark
It would seem that the name Hannah or Johanna was quite popular in Rothcormac back in the day. I have a special affection for the name Hannah, so much so that my granddaughter was named Hannah to honor me. My family was from County Tipperary, in the Ballingary area.
19:01 The gravestone of Laurence Cotter. He died in 1961 aged 81. His wife died in 1973 aged 64 so does anyone calculate that she was 52 years younger than her husband or were did I go wrong?
Hi Cathal, Yes, they’re tacky, but I wonder if those signs, are maybe, covering up sink holes,…. So people won’t fall into them?!? I’ve seen it before here in New England, if there was a sinkhole, the cemetery staff would cover it up with a plank of wood, until they can fill the hole in!! Even so, this County Cork cemetery, should have used wood planks, Which would also let people know, to be careful?!
15:53 Mawe and Maye is that same family just spoken different over time the name spelling changed? Lost way of speaking and writing? English has changed to the point old english is very hard to even read. Live in Wabash county, Indiana Outside holding used only when ground was frozen? Was it ever used to hold coffins locked away from bodysnatchers? Buried alive then dug up by strangers wanting to make off with your body would be freaky. Looks like outside jail cell. ❤Thank you for another great one.❤
I feel that because a motorbike was illustrated on the head stone I find it may not indicate that he was killed on a bike it may indicated that he was motorbike enthusiast . He could have died in car accident. I have seen something like that on a grave years ago.
Speed at 0.50x. 18:18 my grannie I live here? The crackle sound starts about 17:53 mixed in sound of footsteps is a soft child voice. Right after you finish speaking about yew tree. This is a big quess because of either heavy accent or a lisp. ??? help looking for my granddad and ???. Can't find them anywhere. Help me look. Tell my grannie I live here. Help me. ? 20:38 don't go please. help me. At normal speed as you turn to go toward church there is quick sound of disappointment. Wonder if child is buried in that area? Does the grief of living somehow cause energy from not returning to source that made it? Still got sniffles messing with my ears. Could just be hearing cheese slide off my cracker.
I would Google the name of the company, find a # for them and tell them to come pick up the garbage! If they are local enough, I’m sure they would send a crew to pick it up, no company wants their product laying in an historic location!! 🪬🩷🧿🪦🧿🩷🪬
