Hoping that Pickle is having more good days than bad. I’ve experienced several on those calls and the one I got about my dog was the hardest, I let out a guttural noise I’ll never forget. At the time I was 24hrs flight away. I’ll never forget it. Thinking of you all. Thanks for sharing been wondering where you’ve been. These feelings have so much universality to them. Being in Tokyo and getting the call, the waiting till I made the decision that I had to go back early…it was the worst part. He put up a hell of a fight and his lust for life seemed never ending but I’m sad to have to say that yesterday was the end of it. He was choking almost constantly and the pain and misery far outweighed any joy that could be found in a day. Any further delay would have been selfish on our part. He went peacefully and without resistance. We truly appreciate your sympathy and shared experience. Misery is truly strengthened by the company of others. All the best, E&T
@@edandtomo I deeply feel for your loss, the time we have with them is never enough. I always say, they shower us with unconditional love their whole lives. The one gift I can give them is to end their suffering when the quality of life has diminished. I love how you share with us how much your pups are your family and a top priority. I feel exactly the same. Hoping Kuma is doing ok with this sad adjustment. ❤️🐾

Sorry about the news about Pickle. We had just moved to Bangkok, we lost our 16yo dog in July and worst our 11yo cat 2 days after we arrived here in Bangkok. After such devastating loss of our furkids one after the other :(. Totally understand what you are going through.

This extra time we have with him brings thoughts like yours more into my mind and heart. Sorrow is a burden brought on by love. The joy of the latter doesn’t come without the cost of the former. It also helps to remind us of the depth of our love. And that is a thing to cherish. It’s a road all those who love must walk. It isn’t easy but for the love we have shared it must be worth it.
We feel for you both. We have several dogs and it’s never easy when they get sick. Hope you are all doing well now ❤ can’t wait to see your next adventure together x
