At the 8 min mark I was waiting for the swearing words😂 thanks again for the video Ed I think the fellow who designed the air box used to work in the mail room at cat and yeah still loving my 600
I edited them out. I actually used to weld for AC back in the day. Back when the front frame on snowmobiles were still made of steel and the Tiger Shark PWC was a thing. Thanks for watching.
@@marklee505 that is a long story. It is an older Arctic Cat ATV blade I bought on FaceBook marketplace I picked up for $100.00. I had to build a mount for it to fit on the tracker. I should have made a video on it as you’re not the first to ask this. Sorry. Thanks for watching.
Other than changing the air filter it love it. Lots of power, easy to handle and smooth riding. I did notice that the turning radio us is not as sharp as the Sportsman but not by much.
I can’t disagree. I understand the why. They flipped the engine around to shorten the exhaust pipe which puts the air filter facing forward but it sucks to change.
@@jackofalltrades7822 you'd think they'd take the reverse I to consideration. Is the air filter box direct to the engine, or are there hoses like prior models.
Horrible design. The fact that so many other manufactures allow the air filter access under the seat is enough to buy a different brand. I know its a decent bike but serviceability is huge in my book. An air filter change shouldn't need so many tools to swap.
I agree it is not ideal and an air filter should be much easier to change. However, with the engine turned around, I appreciate not feeling the heat from an exhaust pipe on the right side. It also makes changing the oil a snap with the oil filter location. The up side is that I only go into the air box once a year as it is big enough to not plug up fast. Also being located where it is, it doesn’t suck up as much dust as the under seat locations do. I think the hassle of changing is worth the benefits. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for this video - it really helped me a lot! I wish Arctic Cat would come up with a better design than this!
@@KevinMoniz-m1j me too. It is the only thing I hate about the machine.
Thanks for watching.

Hey, do you still do videos since i need some help with removing/installing my radiator
I put them out regularly but have not had to remove the radiator on this machine.
Thanks for watching.
I took mine out and extended the intake hose and moved it to behind the radiator. one time was enough for me 😂
Thanks for watching.
I see you have a snow blade on the atv in the video, what blade is it and how did you install it?

Do you have a problem with having to add coolant a lot
Nope. My coolant level has not moved.
Thanks for watching.
'is this the same on the 570?
No, the 570 is totally different.
Thanks for watching.
How you enjoying the 600?

Whoever decided on that location and design needs to be fired. That's the worst air filter swap in the history of air filters.
