I am not a huge fan of long instrumental intros, but this one was absolutely mesmerizing. You clearly have a story to tell and i could listen to it for hours.
That intro absolutely blew me away. They are the sounds I hear in my head, but can’t get out! They’re the sounds that haunt me in my dreams.... Not a lot else I can say. Thank you! 🙏
Hi Dave and Sis, your late night guided tour of Louth was great fun, and I'm looking forward to part 2. As for the intro...goodness me... That was so emotional, and your semi-acoustic playing was beautiful. You're a gift to us all Dave. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!
Enjoying you and the sis' new career as walking tour guides! Gotta love those rural towns of the UK (and Ireland, where I'm from), they're always a street long with a church, a bank, a post office and about 6 pubs :D
Oh my that intro jam - absolutely stunning electro acoustic perfection. Glad to see you getting out and about Dave. There is so much inspiration to be found at this time of year even in these weird times. For me spring washes the soul clean and reconnects the spirit with the beauty of the world.
John brought me here...now I have two heroes. I'm following our channel since a couple of months and your passion and love for music is always inspiring and gives me an uplifting experience, that brings me real happiness in moments of glumnes. Just like John does...
The opening was simply MAJESTIC , seriously it's special. And I'm loving these walks , your town is so picturesque and to have pubs where they have REAL live bands...awesome. My village isn't quite so nice....and nearly all the pubs have shut down. But yea, it's strange to see no people about. And it's great that you and your sister are so close and have a lot of shared memories. More walkabouts please....obviously starting with some gorgeous guitar playing though. This kinda reminds me of when I was 14 and I used to stay up till 3:00am and meet up with my friends and wonder the streets. And we deffo didn't steal any milk off the back of the milk van....that was just a vicious rumor : )
Absolutely adored the intro Jam. That was other worldly. Such a different vibe to what we're used to on this channel but I loved it so much. Don't hesitate to use that acoustic more often because it was unreal. The rest of the video was great also. It was pleasant having both of you there to tell stories and see your town. Loved it
just an abs fab evening ( a bit spooky off course for the corona) walk with lovely brother and sis, thank you both , ive been to England and Scotland a coupla times, youve got these small towns that are very special in their ways...THANKS Both of You! Kimmo from Finland : )
I love the “28 days later” reference. What a great little walk through of your town. I enjoy seeing where and how other people live around the world. We all have so much to offer one another.
All these notes you play on the intro are on my guitar too. I cannot find them like you do. Great playing. I am only 10 months in but working hard on it.
History hour with Dave and family! 😁 That intro jam was other worldly mate ❤ Awesome! I think you and your sister would like Conwy in North wales - we have a castle! 😁 Edinburgh is awesome too - I highly recommend the ghost bus tour 👍👍
What a beautiful town and what a beautiful set of siblings you both are! Hmm Lincolnshire.. coming from Yorkshire I dont think I can completely approve! But it has a charm which Leeds certainly doesn't have
I live in the usa and in a small town in texas, nice town there but are town a bit smaller, but I am from Portland OR originally, big big city. Small town living for me amd my family is great. Love your music and personality and your sister is fantastic, hope To meet you all some day, and jam. Peace, love, and music
Dave, Great walk around. I been living in Sydney Australia for the last twenty years and originally from Bolton. Similar old history in Bolton around the pubs, church and public hangings and this vid was great flash back to days gone by. Now as a side note I want to see you both do a home gig together. That would rock.. All the best.
I love this. As someone that has no surviving family of my own (I have wife and kids) and a home town I haven't visited in years and know no-one there, it is so lovely to see these walkabouts and what you have here. Family unconditional love and home comfort that I envy. Apart from one friend 150 miles away, I don't even know anyone that knew me before I was 28 years old. These walkabouts are so simple and seemingly pointless, but they are one of the most beautiful portraits of a family I have ever seen, and I doubt anyone as humble as you, Dave, could have made it this charming and natural. Totally love this and I hope you do lots more.
This was super cool. One thing I found amusing, though: How you commented on how empty the place is. Honestly, even in normal circumstances, my hometown always looks like that. Empty. There is nothing going on where I live. It sounds like your small town is much more hoppin' than mine. It reminds me of when I went to a trade school out in the middle of Ohio back in 2000. The town that it was in was around the same size as mine. But, they had all kinds of places to play. Even a neat little dive out on the highway that was a pizza place/bar. I remember watching some Metal cover band out there and indulging in some "stage jumping" while they did various Thrash covers. The P.A. was horrible. But, it was still fun. (especially considering how drunk I was. LOL)
Nice idea this too. This was lovely whilst shifting units in the house..literally felt like I was on holiday in south England. Very strange. Love the buckethead ~ I literally have all his stuff and the sig les Paul
And again a beautiful piece of music. Man...whish I could play like that. Thnx dit the city tour. Greetzzzz tot you and your sister. She's adorable. Keep up the good work. Kind regards from the Netherlands.
Thank you so much for the trip round your Town. It reminded me of "Down Your Way" with Brian Johnson. Brought back memories of happier times. Stay well and stay safe. Cheers! to you and your sis. John Russell (73 year young Rocker now in a rocker ;) in the U.S.A.(Born in Portsmouth U.K)
an ocean away and I was playing the same type of music this morning wit my squier venus through a hot rod deville 4x10, reverb all the way up, treble, middle at 3, bass 9, vol at max, venus at 1 or 2....great music to kill the blues, thx
Great intro on acoustic (my fave) and then so complimentary on electric... Just did not expect this... but am learning to expect the unexpected regarding yourself ! Absolutely 'Loved' this rendition and theme ?? 🦋🐛🐜🐝🪲🦗🪳🕷🪰🐞10 / 10 Bugs for this effort ! "Cool Sista" ... (I've got some 'cool' Daughters who are Sistas too and one smokes tobacco and other nags me for smoking tobacco, but not elder Sista !... Both are musicians... Clavinova, Keyboards and acoustic Guitar... Life is "Good") ... ☘...
A few observations: 1. Your sister is hot. 2. Louth has overwhelming commitment to ending this virus. Absolutely NO ONE is out on the streets on a Saturday night. 3. Your town is so quaint and quintessentially English. Louth is basically what every American (at least those who've never visited the UK) imagine every British town to look like. Very sweet. And, oh, one last thing, your acoustic playing is really nice. I'd never heard you play acoustic.
A Lincoshire Lad and Lass. Looks like a lovely town. Saturday night?. Looks like a ghost town. Glad you survived. Here in sunny bunny Sheffield, it's like the Wild West, on a Saturday night. I loved and enjoyed the walk. You are a man of many talents, you are our eye on the world, well Linc's anyway. So interesting, love the history. Stay safe. Moog. Bigger town than I thought.
Loved that video Dave, your sister is awesome, one day my mrs and I would love to come down and have a pint with you both, especially if it as one of your gigs!!
Hello Dave and sister I’m watching now on my new tv this was cool and such a wonderful town and video it’s sad though it’s a ghost town we all might as well be living on the moon or a desert your playing was great too in the beginning thank you from upstate New York 😎👍🇺🇸🇬🇧
You are awesome Dave! I look forward to more beautiful playing like this. I could only hope 1 day I could play a tenth of your ability. I can only dream of playing like you..Thank you Dave.
I couldn't turn away! You couldn't have done that tour in normal times, and since I'll likely never be there, (although I would love to) I thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you both for posting!
A friend of my dad's called Alan Mapstone used to show paintings in the library - at least I think it was the library. Sadly Alan has been dead for a while, but he used to be part of the area's alt culture in the 70s & 80s
You live in such a nice little town. It's so cool to see. Also it's cool to see a Spar shop, haven't seen one in years. :D There used to be Spar's here in Finland too
The intro was amazing Dave :) I have picked up the guitar again after about 14 years, and would love to play something like this some day, but to tell you the truth, when I came across your channel one fine day, your solos were the inspiration behind me wanting to pick up the guitar once more. A Big Thank You to you. Please keep up the good work of inspiring people like me.
Dave mate, I want more vids like this. Your skills on the Guitar are immense, but additionally you're skills as a personality are equally as good!
i agree, and ur sister is cool too
Man -- World Class Accostic Elec.Talent. and Amp Settings are unreal ... 🌆🌃🌆🌔🌠🌌
If our lives depended on Dave's skill and accuracy then we would all live forever, thanks Dave, absolute respect to you as always.
Pretty much every Dave intro jam is like the best part of every album you've ever owned
well said . He is World Class Accostoc Elec. Talent. and Amp Settings are unreal
10:03 and 10:19 you both have the same intonation when saying "Hellooo".
I am not a huge fan of long instrumental intros, but this one was absolutely mesmerizing. You clearly have a story to tell and i could listen to it for hours.
You have an incredible gift of diverse music within you. You have emotional depth in your playing. Play on.
That intro absolutely blew me away. They are the sounds I hear in my head, but can’t get out! They’re the sounds that haunt me in my dreams.... Not a lot else I can say. Thank you! 🙏
Really enjoyed the intro and the tour! thanks. cheers from Canada
Your home town is beautiful the history the architecture I love it I want to go there so bad . Awesome video Dave thanks for the share

Thanks for the tour. I'm really enjoying your channel. Really liked your DIY guitar build and enjoying all of your guitar playing. Thank you.
I agree ! I could see Dave as a good friend! He is genuine and thats what the world needs more of!
Rise and shine...nice way to get up and start in a day. Just makes me feel good. Thank you Dave
What a great relationship you both seem to have. Good luck to you both. Tell her to stop smoking. It’s bad for her. 😄
Cool to see siblings hanging out. Family is the most important thing!
Right, that intro jam was ethereal. Jesus Christ it gave me chills, also watching you and your sister vibe is great
thanks Dave and Tot. Such a nice place. love the buildings
The jam at the beginning was sweet. True artistry!
Very interesting vid Dave thanks for sharing, stay safe guys.

I really enjoyed the walking tour and your commentary. Your sister is cool to. You two are funny together.
Thank you for the evening tour of your town. Really enjoyed the narrative you and your lovely sis provided!
I live in the usa and in a small town in texas, nice town there but are town a bit smaller, but I am from Portland OR originally, big big city. Small town living for me amd my family is great.

Lots of pubs
Beautiful town, looks old and I love it, cheers.

All the best to you and your family. Stay safe.

Very kind of you to bring us along and introduce us to your sister. You're both cool to hang out with. Thanks Dave.
Touching beautiful acoustic intro-duction to your hometown, so atmospheric and taken in hand.
Loved that intro jam bro, nice. Reminds me of a gospel song I used to listen to.
Really enjoyed this video. Love your town. Obviously not a normal Saturday night! It should be put on the Louth tourist information site as a link!

your town reminds me of the town in the UK movie HOT FUZZ.
It is! Every U.K. town is like that.
Scottish towns are more like the movie Local Hero... or The Wicker Man :-)
I REALLY enjoyed the stories. Keep up the great content! THANK YOU!
I love how even the most non descript buildings have more history than my entire country...
Excellent video! really reminds me of my hometown. Thank you!
Loved that video Dave, your sister is awesome, one day my mrs and I would love to come down and have a pint with you both, especially if it as one of your gigs!!
Love you Dave, have a good day from Austin, TX ........
Great to see you both, the town and the history too, no zombies!, that's always good oh and great intro :)
Went a little Gilmour there a time or two. Love it. Amazing stuffs, Dave.

Great Town! Lots of History! Great Walk! You wore me out! I'm an old fart!
Great Vid Dave, nice change up from the norm...keeping it interesting for us : )
I like seeing you guys walk and show us around. It helps since a lot of us have been stuck inside with nothing to do for months now.
Stay well, Dave! Thanks for continuing to post!
The architecture is good there. Makes me want to visit!
Everything is within walking distance!! Wow. Cool vid, Dave!
Thoroughly enjoyed this! I love your town :) reminds me of a few towns here in New Zealand. I love all the old buildings :)
WHAT are the setting for that acoustic , I want to set up my 12 String Ovation the same way . Spill the beans Dave - Share the sound. Thanks -
You are awesome Dave! I look forward to more beautiful playing like this. I could only hope 1 day I could play a tenth of your ability. I can only dream of playing like you..Thank you Dave.

Awesome video man. Nice Town. Have a good day.
Wow ! It looked more like a 5am walk than a 9pm walk Dave. In a few years this will all be a bad memory. Fascinating and well worth documenting 👍
Never knew you were from Louth. Brought back memories of living there but now in NZ. Great music mate.
Dave, I think you have a great relationship with you sister,
Dave I really love your channel Dave. Thanks Dave. Dave, I really fancy your sister Dave. Sorry Dave.
Hey Dave! Thanks for the tour of your town! : )
great tour dave. felt jack the ripper-esque in certain areas. cheers.
You have a cool hometown. Very cool.
A friend of my dad's called Alan Mapstone used to show paintings in the library - at least I think it was the library. Sadly Alan has been dead for a while, but he used to be part of the area's alt culture in the 70s & 80s
I'd rather watch this guy play than anybody else on youtube🎸👍
loved the intro and the walk was actually really interesting. It felt like good company watching it :)
Thanks for the tour Simpson's I really enjoyed that .
Lovely playing Dave . Nice ethereal sounding. Thanks for the trip 👍🎸😎
That, was a wee treat. Very enjoyable. Thank you both from Ayrshire Scotland.
Cool video Dave.
Love the banter with your sister.
Although she does seem to bring out the creepy wierdos 😂
Beautiful acoustic playing Dave always good to take a step back brother.
I love those places in the UK. This town reminds me of the Italian cult comic "Dylan Dog".
Walking Dave could be a good/dumb name for this soon to be world famous series of videos!
You live in such a nice little town. It's so cool to see. Also it's cool to see a Spar shop, haven't seen one in years. :D There used to be Spar's here in Finland too
