I’ve thrown all these baits except the devil swimmer. For small bodies of water without shad, would you still be throwing these?

Definitely, just try and pick colors that fit the body of water. At Clearlake there are no trout but Steve Kennedy broke the record with a Huddleston Trout. Bass are predators and will crush an easy meal.
