Your answer is behind them where it says Circus. This was some comical thing they did probably for TV which was rarely shown because it was so bad. Someone got a hold of it and posted it to Baba O’Riley.
Nobody can put a 360 spin on a guitar 🎸 like Pete, I mean like nobody can!!! I will never forget the live performance The Who gave the audience at the Forum in California. Pete had a cast on his wrist, but it never interfered with Pete’s multiple 360’s. 😂 Love and Light ❤ The Who
What year was that. When Pete had cast on his wrist. Am thinking it was 89. I saw them in Philadelphia pa and Pete had a cast. He had hit his hand doing his windmill and had to get 9 stitches in his hand. But they said he didn't take care of it until after the show. But am sure they had to get the bleeding under control. Saw the WHO 5 TIME'S greatest rock band ever ever. My ears are still ringing and I love it
April 14, 1980 at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver. They held a mail-in lottery for the 12,000 available tickets and got over 200,000 entries. I 'won' the chance to buy 2 tickets for $16 each and took my first girlfriend, Jan. Sparks was amazing.
I had seen them at the now gone pontiac silver dome when it was brand new on 12/5/1975. They said the pope had the largest attendance. all i remember is it was a free for all. It became a free concert. All i know is we were on the thirty yard line & could not move. our only salvation was a 2.5 gallon foldable jug of vodka & wylers orange when empty it became i urinal we shared with the girls. all i remember is a bunch of guys carrying a 10 foot section of cast iron pipe. Go figure. I would bet there were over 122,000 people there. It was terrifying.
This song came out during the Viet Nam War, but it doesn't appear to have been inspired by or related to the war. "According to Townshend, at the end of the band's gig at the Isle of Wight festival, the field was covered in rubbish left by fans, which inspired the line 'teenage wasteland.'" Townsend has also said the song was inspired by the audience at Woodstock.
It has nothing to do with Vietnam. A was written for a rock opera that was never finished called Lifehouse. The main character in the story is a young farmer who leaves home to explore the world.
Keith moon did not drown in a pool but overdosed on the prescribed medication to curb his alcohol withdrawl symptoms! Youre thinking of brian jones of the rolling stones!
What exactly is the point of this video, (playing the wrong song against the wrong performance) to see WHO was paying attention?! HAHAHAHA okay, I'll show myself out now. Margaret from Canada
People say Bruce and the e street band are the best at live rock performing. I’ve studied their performances closely. And I’ve studied the who. Generally I agree with people. Regarding Bruce and his band being the best at live performances. Except when it comes to one band. Look closely . Actually? No one even truly has to look closely. In live rock n roll performances? In summary? The who wins. Irrefutably . Hands down. And I like Bruce. But what I just said? It’s just the truth. Call a spade a spade. Period.
This is not 1971. This is the who playing a Quick one on a TV show the rolling stones circus. Back sometimes in the middle or late 60s. This song that you are saying it is. It wasn't even put on paper yet. I am a 64 year old man. I have been a crazy crazy WHO FREAK. SINCE THE LATE 60S. AND THE ROLLING STONES WOULDN'T RELEASE THIS Video. CAUSE IT SHOWS JUST HOW MUCH BETTER THE WHO IS THEN THE STONES. I think it wasn't released for over 40 years. Please check and make sure what you are going to put online. Please be sure you are right. Cause looking at this. Makes the who look like they suck. Nothing Matches up with the playing of the drums roger singing. You are making them look like they don't know what they are doing.
Wow, what an awful video! This is filmed in 1968 during a Never released episode of The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus. They are singing "a quick one while he's away". The video is available on UA-cam. Interesting note... The Who sounded so good and so tight, and the rest of the Acts including the stones, Clapton, and Marianne Faithfull sounded so awful, that the stones decided not to release it. I think it popped up sometime in the late 80s or early 90s.
It's so nice to see Keith moon so young and healthy. They are phenomenal. As they have always been.
Que grandiosos fueron!!! ❤❤❤❤
❤PURA BELLEZA❤SONIDO INOLVIDABLE❤BLUES❤PUNK❤ROCK❤MELODIAS QUE ACOMPAÑARÁN TODA LA VIDA❤
Real who fans are cringing right now
Yikes…yeah we are.
No we're not.
Nobody who loves the who would put this bullshit on and try and pass it off as anything but "a quick one while he's away"
Bingo !
Your answer is behind them where it says Circus. This was some comical thing they did probably for TV which was rarely shown because it was so bad. Someone got a hold of it and posted it to Baba O’Riley.

This song reminds me Dr House tv series... too bad it ended. I watched all season couple of times.
🤦
CSI, también.
La están volviendo a televisar, en el canal TEN.
We're talking about The Who , not some stupid TV Show
Also, the performance was so good, the Stones didn’t want to go on after…
Film clip ‘A Quick One” from The Stones R&R Circus sound track “Baba O’ Riley’ 😩
6 years later I believe 🤔
Hmm. What's the point of mashing the Who . Plenty of who footage

It was a big hit at one time about the war in Nam
This song came out during the Viet Nam War, but it doesn't appear to have been inspired by or related to the war. No John? 🧐
What do you play the studio version
How much would it cost to get the sound track that goes with the video?!?
It’s free on UA-cam. Just search “A Quick One While He’s Away” and you’ll find it.
Eminence front one of my favorites
just seen them in Chicago
.... halt of the original group is gone john and keith

Their drummer was hawt!! Pete Moon died early on after tying one own and drowned in the pool. Ironically, Ringo Starr 's son is playing with the Who.
Keith moon did not drown in a pool but overdosed on the prescribed medication to curb his alcohol withdrawl symptoms! Youre thinking of brian jones of the rolling stones!
You got three facts wrong in one sentence. Congratulations.

I prefer REALS human beings so 😢 i miss u KEITH MOON JUST U
Why would you do this? There's plenty of versions of Baba O'Riley.. this is a quick one
Are you kidding me ? We can see the background
Best of thé best
C’est 1968 pas 71
Obviously not Baba O’Riley . A clip from a comedy circus routine done for TV.
Yep, that's me... you're probably wondering how I ended up in this situation
Both good songs, but the video is A quick one while he's a way
thats rock and roll circus 1968 not 1971.........
Keith Moon!
Who (no pun) the hell did this? A Quick One goes with A Quick One and Baba with Baba.
Ain't fooling anybody.
What exactly is the point of this video, (playing the wrong song against the wrong performance) to see WHO was paying attention?! HAHAHAHA okay, I'll show myself out now.

That's 1969 not 1971. They weren't playing who's next until 1973. This is crap.
Nice job putting the original audio over some random live performance, it’s very nice to see some idiot do this
Wow. So wrong
Somebody really fucked up here

Ew.
Come on man!, a dislike very well earned....
Moon was useless
OVERRATED
Keith an Pete were very overrated . Keith with very sloppy an Pete nothing great ust a guitar player .
