2023 Scooter Cannonball Day 7 CP 3

- Rode my Vespa Primavera from Birmingham to Fackler, Alabama. The Checkpoint #3 for Day 7 of the Scooter Cannonball was at this location.
After arriving, the father of #321 arrived to wait for his son. Then Advrider Wecsog came to join me. Several motorcycle riders came to observe and cheer on the riders. I arrived at 9am and left at 2pm before all the riders had checked in. I used 2 cameras and my phone to try to capture all that was going on. One camera set on the back of my Primavera, one camera on a selfie stick, and tried to take photos with my phone. Some riders didn't stop but just snapped the checkpoint photo as they passed. Some stopped and chatted. Some stopped, took the photo, then continued without a word.
www.scootercannonball.com has a list of all riders, their user names, and their real names with all their stats. If you can't find them, then look in history section depending on how long after the event you look.
The jeep near the end of the video was one providing support.
I attempted to put the rider number with as many as I could. It was a blast.

Thanks Eric. I appreciate you commenting after watching. Some of those riders were in such a hurry, I had no idea who they were. Some I found by the time stamp on their photos. The SCB has become a legend event. I guess I should have been a bit more diligent in my research before posting the video.

I had several of them invite me to the next event. No way. I ride slow, stop often, take lots of photos, and turn when I see a road that looks like a fun ride. Those guys are extremists. Having said that, 20-30 years ago I would have done it. Thank you Sam!!!!

Great video! This was a much better vantage point than the Lynchburg bonus point.. doesn't seem like I saw near this many riders.
