No need to apologize. Just happy to be able to watch another of your videos. Liked the editing of you going back to Jen each time to see what she was up to that day. Hope you are still making good progress. -Geo
I tagged these with the location I was in and they seem to weigh that pretty heavily as far as showing folks videos on the Home Screen. I’ve noticed a lot of new folks finding them that way
Jen, glad to see you’re taking the time to heal your body. And I must say you are a very bright light in an otherwise dark world we live in. It will be sad to see you go, and I wish you the very best.
I got caught in that hailstorm too. I was just outside Kremmling, Co when it hit. I am walking west to east and will be in Breckenridge tomorrow and Pueblo on the 25th. Our paths almost crossed. 👍
You're last saying on not being able to smell yourself because of the mold smell is getting me scared as I need to book some motels for upcoming trip. Hikes!
Hi Taters hope being out of the heat and having all the water and good food you can eat has you back to normal. Not surprising the water is bad after decades of pesticides herbicides and fertilizers applied to mile after mile of fields. Everyday for the past week my suggested UA-cam shorts has a thumbnail of Taters crossing the bridge into Harper's Ferry in the storm, love it and we will miss you until your next appearance 😎✌
i bet Jenn's student enjoy her adventures with FCOTM and all the stories she has to tell. more teachers should do this. only knew a few that did great adventures in the summer
You might want to consider getting Jenn to a Urgent Care clinic if any are around. That many days of dietary distress from dehydration are had to fix without a saline iv. It is amazing how better you feel after the fluids.
No fun having stomach issues on a trip. I went to Hong Kong with a friend who was from there, had a taste of fish head soup, got "stomach issues". I had a zero day myself and my friend got some "medicine" for me. I opened up the little bottle, gave it a sniff - looked over at him - sniffed again, "Smells familiar." I said. Looked at the ingredients and I saw the word, "creosote". Yep, smelled like a telephone pole. They were tiny pills, took one and it actually helped. Now, I'm not saying to lick a telephone pole, but it must of had just enough "medical quality" creosote to kill whatever was in me...or, it cleared up on it's own.😁 Stay safe out there.
@@stevegabbert9626 yeah those signs in CO near the prisons always confused me. like, how often are there prison breaks in real life? Maybe not even one per year over the entire US?
A genius idea, a UA-cam channel devoted to people posting videos of their illnesses and people giving medical advice in the comments. What could go wrong? You're welcome!
I know im late in commenting, but i just recently discovered your channel. Please tell me you know not to seek shelter near trees in a lightning storm. It's so not safe to do that.
Yikes....just Yikes.....Olney Springs looks pretty damn sketchy to me.....and your Fowler motel not a whole lot better......hoping you have a decent evening....!
Perhaps previous hikers or "wanderers" had used their stoves in the bathroom or room, so she wanted to be sure! And yes, I blame the heat and dehydration as much as a stomach bug. They are all related. Sorry! Skip and hike on! Tortoise
Prayers answered that you took a break, its in your lymph system( swollen glands )now so whatever you can do to flush it out that will assist your body in getting rid of the toxins.Even when feeling so ,you are the ultimate hostess, making sure the storm torn hiker has hydration products waiting.Matt your guardian angel is working overtime to keep you going,to keep you safe.May your food and rest heal and recharge you both.Boy John Denver fooled lottsa people with that Colorado Rocky mountain high song ...but cows and animals need to eat.Corn must grow, and wheat ,soybeans and .. pumpkins.Hopefully the changing scenery wont be too cold when you hit that dividing line and you could enjoy being out in the sun.
Here's a geography lesson for you. The Arkansas river turns south and goes thru Wichita and then into Oklahoma. The Kansas River goes thru Kansas City. Not the Arkansas River.
@robinfinehout1160 is there something wrong if someone may or may not be pregnant? Why is it a "joke?" I love these two so I wouldn't mean anything malicious to either. I just have the sense of humor like Matt. Sorry it upset your soft soul.
Sorry the episode is a bit late today. Been a bit of a struggle lately keeping on schedule
my coffee got cold ......just made new cup. letting this slide this time
No problem. I was watching video's on rural Kansas towns that are in the decline and watching my washing machine to see if it's going to leak.
Matt, no problem. Glad you got through that thunderstorm ok!
I was beginning to wonder, to be fair

It's crazy that this popped up. I live in Rocky Ford. The algorithm is crazy.

Right behind the driver! Always the best seat Jen.
Great back and forth montage btw...
I enjoyed your edit of this video, showing the different perspectives of you and Taters as the day (and storm) progressed. Great job!
Jen, glad to see you’re taking the time to heal your body. And I must say you are a very bright light in an otherwise dark world we live in.

Wow my hat is off to you both. Jen for toughing it out for four days with stomach issues and Matt! Wow that storm was no joke.
Hey Y'all, do hope you feel better Taters, and can enjoy your last day out.
I got caught in that hailstorm too. I was just outside Kremmling, Co when it hit. I am walking west to east and will be in Breckenridge tomorrow and Pueblo on the 25th. Our paths almost crossed. 👍
It's okay no apologies needed 😊

No matter how hydrated I am I can definately get GI issues pushing myself in the heat. Take care! ❤
We stayed at the RV patk across the street once. Felt very murdery.

Ha! Ah yes that fun little storm. I’d forgotten I played around and uploaded that as a short
Day 129 (day behind watch). Missed this one, as I too was out and about in eastern Colorado…on the hunt for fields of sunflowers. Poor Jen. Argh!
You better take care of that girl. She’s definitely a keeper!

This is from five days ago so Taters is back in California and hopefully feeling better. (Unless she dissed Terry.)
Yeah, better now, it wasn’t anywhere near severe enough to need an iv thankfully.
Mush Matty mush💪💪💪
"No Fuego en el Baño" is your new band name. You're welcome.
Nice. Ya beat me to it.😂
nice high plains storm
Here’s to pavilions and trestle bridges when you really need them.
Can't fill water in town? The trail provides you with ice water from the sky. What a great day! 😂
The cows only wanted you to MOOOOOOve along...
I hope you are better Jen, and that you have maybe gone to a clinic for help

Thanks, sorry our time with taters is about done. ✌🏻👊🏼
Did you see any "do not pick up hitchhikers" signs near correctional facilities?
I’ve seen them elsewhere. Didn’t see them here but I was a little distracted by the big storm cell coming at me
Here's my thought, "Maybe keep better control of the inmates!?"
@@stevegabbert9626 yeah those signs in CO near the prisons always confused me. like, how often are there prison breaks in real life? Maybe not even one per year over the entire US?
Tater's Day Off! (You should make a movie!)
There was a serious problem with meth fires on motel rooms.
Best $3 investment you’ve made on your journey. Man that is cheap bus fare.
Bears and Oreos

That's what I am here for--the opportunity to give unsolicited and uninformed medical advice.

Do you think she meant no smoking in the bathroom but said the wrong English word?
Hope nobody has parasites :(
I keep getting ads for meat sticks at beginning of your vid.
You should see Darwin in the kitchen !
Matt, let Jen talk

Using their stoves in the bathroom of a mexican food joint? I think you usually go into the meth hotel for that...

Taters is pregnant!! Congrats guys 😅
You don't know that, so stop spreading rumors
Was just joking. Chill out snowflake.@KC3YCU
@robinfinehout1160 😢 sorry to any little keyboard babies reading into a comment too much. Including you.
