Tuomas Saukkonen. A one man army. Really nice and humble guy. Unbelievably talented and creative musician. Stage manager. Roadie. Strong as a bull....
He had bands like Before The Dawn, Black Sun Aeon, Routasielu, Dawn Of Solace, but he disbanded them all in 2013 to start Wolfheart all by his own. Which later on grew up a full band after all.
Also, after 13 years we got new Dawn Of Solace album Tuomas did w/ Mikko Heikkilä from Kaunis Kuolematon on vocals

I absolutely love this band and love this song. IMO this is one of the greatest metal songs of all time. Great video 👍
....they have many great songs, like "Routa pt.2", "The Flood", "Ashes", "Breakwater"... 🤗

Love that you jumped on Wolfheart! As for your question.. its like saying yea.. I cooked this in 10 minutes! But, before that it took an hour to chop and prep everything, and then the same after for clean up!

Yeah, Wolfheart is a great fucking band. One of my favorites band. They are from Finland and they play melodic death metal. They have better songs than this one, Here's a couple songs that i recommend to react: Boneyard,World on fire, Zero gravity, Nemesis or Breakwater. I hope you can react to one of those songs. This band is brutal as fuck

Hi Mike, I loved it so much until about 3.50 in then I was flattened 😔. They should have kept it totally instrumental. Just my opinion. That drummer was on fire 🔥. Someone give that singer a stepsil sore throat longer. 🤣
You know the same guy wrote the song, played all the instruments and did the vocals? (apart from that guitar solo). You will get used to the harsh vocals and learn to appreciate them.

In many cases the rest is the same for melancholy and metal is in Finnish DNA. Here's the Finnish pop queen with a song that is known to draw tears out of us Finnish metalheads: ua-cam.com/video/EO0p_U1w89A/v-deo.html Now compare that with the death metal: ua-cam.com/video/Xy5KAHD2uak/v-deo.html So if you liked the intro but want less harsh vocals with the melancholic aspect, I'd recommend some old Finnish pop/folk tunes (thought the language may be a problem) unless the instrumentation is the thing to you and not the melodic build.
