i love it when the kids get hype like that. he ran right back up there. the whole legs bent so they can straighten out on the way down really helps me visualize what im trying to do. now i have to work on whats next besides jumping off

Been wondering where you rolled off to. Thanks for the update. Happy to hear you're back in school and doing well with a new passion to fuel your fire. Local park finally opened by me yesterday. I dropped in on a 6 footer after not skating for 20 years. Thought I was doing ok cruising and pumping in bowl until I got swept off my feet and slammed hard on hip and ribs 🤦♂️ I think I took things too fast, need to get balance back apparently 😂 Didnt think I could forget how to skate, since I did it every day for 10+ years as a kid. But I remember skateboarding will always humble you every single day 😂
haha I stood at the top of what seemed like an 8 foot vert quarter today and it was absolutely terrifying (i didnt try it!). nice tip about crouching to touch the coping, that sounds like it would come in handy. thanks!

I needed this two days ago. Now I know why it felt weird compared to a smaller drop in. I was standing too tall. I'll try the hand on the coping next time.

I believe that skateboarding can greatly enhance my snowboarding skills during the summer, so I decided to start skateboarding this year, even at the age of 33. I wish I had started at a younger age. But hey, skateboarding is fun, especially transitions, though it's also scarier and tougher than snowboarding. I can feel your passion for teaching, and I totally get it because I used to be a PE teacher and swim coach.

You definitely don’t have to get the hand on the coping but you do need to tuck into it when leaning 🙌🏽🛹🙌🏽

I believe that skateboarding can greatly enhance my snowboarding skills during the summer, so I decided to start skateboarding this year, even at the age of 33. I wish I had started at a younger age. But hey, skateboarding is fun, especially transitions, though it's also scarier and tougher than snowboarding. I can feel your passion for teaching, and I totally get it because I used to be a PE teacher and swim coach.
