.well It started in the pit of my stomache, you know that feeling you get when you trip and your about to fall but you catch yourself before you do? It was sorta like that. And then it radiated into my chest and my heart felt warm and when I took a breath in I felt truly genuinely alive, like I could accomplish anything or be anyone. This is my best description of how I felt the first time I heard this song
Non guitar players would never know how hard to play like this! even a seasoned player would be hard to catch. Ben howard is a gem.

+Statiq pretty good I have all the notes and chords down and I'm fine tuning on the rhythms and speed. I nailed the intro today 100% and it felt like air in my lungs. My cat almost craped on the couch when I let out a victory cry. lol
A combo of tabs and youtube seem to do the trick. . . . .that and practicing till my friends and family are probably plotting my death. I always have my guitar with me. If I have to wait for anything more than 10 min. I use it to practice. I was even bummed my tire changeover didn't take longer. If this is an addiction I'll cut my losses and call it good.

1 week in to learning.. the thing is, i primarily listen to bassline (jackin) house, old school garage and etc variants of house- probably about 80% of my 7500+ song library is electronic with a vast majority being individual downloads. Its taken many years to build and throughout those years i have strayed a little into all genres and actually had this album since release, but i was never able to truly appreciate your exceptional ability when behind a guitar. my roommate is an amazing guitar player and he had an extra uke, decided to try it out and been obsessed for the past week... i also cant stop listening to your tunes, bennyboy..
Now, I still haven't technically learned any songs yet but this is going to be the first one!!!
I know there are many ways to play it but that solo (?) that starts around 3:00, i would LOVE to learn that on the ukulele!!! I've been trying to do something like that just making my own songs and im not even close, PLEASE, guide me!
