I highly doubt people that don't play guitar - realizes how amazingly good Ben is... even a seasoned player will find this style hard.

Simon Caissie At the moment I am asking myself, if it is my bad english or just a joke from you I dont understand. You say seriously that his skills are easy to learn? Ben Howards techniques are at an enormous high level man..
The pick and go technique Ben Howard uses isn't inherently difficult if you have already learned it from another source(thanks Tallest Man On Earth). A lot of guitar players are crippled by a pick, but I started out fingerpicking. The first song I taught myself was "Dust in the Wind". I'm left handed too, and play right handed guitar (so my right hand is crippled in some ways) and I have no problem playing this song. Looked at the tab and learned it almost instantly, tuning the guitar was probably more of a job than learning it.
The hard part is playing it and singing it, which took me a few hours to get down. Although as I've said, I have learned many Tallest Man on Earth songs, and they rival the difficulty of most of his songs, if not harder.

Yeah man I know, no problem, but never said he did something wrong! Just trying to read his mind! Love it! I do it all the time when i'm too much in love with the sounds of that line that I forget the next one is comming fast. :) It's just that I recognised his little laugh after it on my own same 'faults'. Guess he is, like me, more in trance with the music then with the words, and that's nice to see. You can hear here that improvisation sure works :)

2:40, ooops, stayed too long with his mind in love with this part of the song, so that he was a little to late to breath for the next line and this part got a little diffrent, but repaired very well. Looks like he had this before, it's funny becouse I can really understand what happened here as I myself always make this mistake too. keep up Ben, You're the best!
I remember on David Letterman he said his hands were small hence why he plays some notes from the top down. If his hands are small, than goddam what chance in hell do I have.
