I purchased my first pair of wide leg linen pants and at first I wasn't used to it at first I now love how flowy and comfortable they are. It's like wearing a maxi dress but not :)
I love linen, and enjoyed your video. One comment from a designer that I read made a lot of sense to me; linen is at its best in humid tropical climates because the high humidity works to reduce the wrinkles. The increased moisture in the air and the fabric have that effect.

That makes sense. I’m in California. It’s dry here. I’m planning on making a few linen items for summer
I dry my linen in the dryer and remove it when still slightly damp. I will put tops on the hangers and give it a few quick hard shakes and hang them to dry. Not a crisp finish but no wrinkles. I shake the pants as well before hanging them. If they get wrinkled in the closet, I use a spray bottle and lightly mist the items, shake them and they are gone. It’s so hot and humid where I live but every business has their A/C running that I need some sort of cover over tees. I have different colored relaxed fit button down shirts, roll the cuffs a few times and can always add a scarf to dress it up. It’s been my go to for 30 years. A friend’s teenage daughter commented that when she got older she was going to live in linen like me 🤣
The sophisticated look is well.... so sophisticated! All the looks are beautiful: relaxed not stuffy.

My favorite look is the one with the black sleeveless top. So sharp! I took the plunge a couple of years ago and bought two pairs of linen pants from Old Navy. They were a bargain. They are a linen cotton blend. I don't wear them as much as I'd like to because I get stuck on how to style them. This post is very helpful. I'm going to play around and try some of these combos.

For people who really hate ironing: tumble-dry on low to medium heat, use a long cool-down cycle, then pull the clothes out when cool, but before the dryer stops, and hang up immediately. This works surprisingly well for the softer linen look, especially when combined with a gentle wash/spin cycle, which doesn’t set in very deep wrinkles. “Permanent - Press” cycles in the dryer, and in the washer with warm or cool water, work great.🙂

I love linen. So cool in the heat and warmer than synthetics in the winter. I loved the suit Hannibal Lecter was wearing in the movie. It's like a free feeling to wear.

The bright linen top is absolutely beautiful with your coloring! I have been trying linen for the first time this summer after years of avoiding it because of the wrinkles. I am loving it, and just like you say, I'm ignoring the wrinkles. I found your channel after Robin from Faith and Flour recommended it. So happy to have found another source of wardrobe inspiration. I love all the looks. I really hesitated buying linen because I can't stand wrinkles. I took two pairs with me when I went to Asia. They were so comfortable. Also I found that if you sent your laundry out they would press them. I was so thrilled about the service I tipped them & they had the biggest smile on their faces. I own 2 pairs of linen pants and 2 short sleeve button up linen shirts. I love the way they feel and breathe and wear them often. I also just scored an Eddie Bauer linen shirt in the prettiest blue at the thrift shop for $2 (in like new condition) Yahoo. My favorite outfit was the "Chic" one with the black shirt and straw hat. I would love to own that outfit. Great video Kay.
Great vid, as always, Kay. As our California summers keep getting hotter and more unbearable, I have been adding more linen to my wardrobe. I love it’s breathability and coolness. I do iron all my linen clothes, but I wear them freshly washed and ironed for an “out”, day, hang them carefully, then wear them wrinkled for a home day, if they're still super-clean. It is possible to get linen pants with a slimmer fit, I got several pairs, in different colors, of H&M’s linen joggers this year. I love them because they have a narrower, tapered leg, with a comfortable drawstring waist, come in lots of colors and are very affordable. I also love wider-legged (woven) linen pants, dresses, skirts and tops and recently discovered linen knit tops, which, if not quite as cool, are great, too. I got some linen skirts from Amazon at a great price, too. Thanks for all your hard work, you’re the best!

I love all these looks. You are selling me on linen. I've always loved the fabric but hating looking wrinkled. But I love that elastic waist and drawstrings seem to be part of this look so who doesn't want to be cool and comfortable. Love the flax color.

I've got 4 pr. Linen pants 2 are light like yours 1is an olive green and 1 I found are cropped they are a muted blue green with muted flowers just scattered and what makes them special they have darts at the hem ppl stop me to say what beautiful outfit I have on ! Love your pairings!

Kay, try Downy Wrinkle Release spray. You can use it without ironing at all OR, for best results, use it as an ironing aide. You will love this product.
H&M has great linen “joggers” for a good price, about $30 or so, I bought several colors last summer and I wore them constantly. I also just ordered several pairs from Amazon for about that price.

It doesn't matter about the wrinkles, I carry a linen jacket for when we stop to eat in case the spot is a little cool.
Hubs (and I of course) LOVE(S) that I'm always put together and yet so comfortable. I prefer not to travel in ',just anything & I'll change when I get there.' For me, the vacation starts in my closet😊
