It's hard to be sure that it will be 100% waterproof after taking off the back cover. But you should use Samsung's original parts (back cover and adhesive). However, you won't be really sure to get the sealing back.
@@YouCanRepair not that much. At first, the screen of my phone got fluctuated, then i used hair dyer to dry my phone. after a day, i thought everything is okay til i found out the problem of wifi. What will i do next? Tnx
@@dianejia unfortunately if the problem comes from an oxidation of the motherboard, there is not much to do. I can't help you too much without seeing the inside of your phone...
I recently dropped my a52 and there's a small hairline crack on the reflective plastic frame and i want to know if the reflective plastic frame is the part that keeps the phone waterproof or if its just a outer frame that's just used to take impact when dropped( or to look good) and the aluminium midframe is the actually water proofing ?
There are a lot of spare parts sellers on internet. You can search for the part you need using its original reference on Google. What do you need to repair on your XA1 Plus ?
@@YouCanRepair Yes, but I think I might have chipped the screws a little, ended up wrapping it in tape which gave enough friction to loosen one screw. They're tipped in blue loctite, which is why I think it was so hard to get loose - any tips to loosen up the blue loctite without damaging the phone?
If anyone else has issues: I managed to loosen them by heating them up with a hairdryer, and then using a rag for better grip on my screwdriver. I think the best tip here is the first one, use a decent 1.5 Phillips screwdriver lol. Thanks a lot for the guide! Managed to fix it

Only if you repaired it from Samsung you're sure it's still water resistant

Will it survive water? as it has ip 67 rating water and dust resistant
Yes, but after a repair, it is better to avoid...
Is the phone still have water resistan sir?
After being repaired, a phone will never be truly waterproof again... I recommend you not to put it in water after that.
