Absolutely loving what I heard (SAW's late 1980s-early '90s version of America's 1960s "Motown Sound), I ordered as many SAW-produced-artists' CDs as I could find. I actually believe he is quite a fragile person with a ton of hang-ups. He should have stayed where it was safe in Guys n Dolls. Being in that business means you will be criticised and often viciously regardless of who you are. It should be water off a duck's back at his age. As soon as he is criticised he jumps and bites like a yappy dog. That business with Bucks Fizz years ago (it was before this) was really really bad . It is testimony to Mike N's strength of character that he has said little about it publicly (though Cheryl was more vocal most famously on Celebrity Coach Trip).

Dollar as a group, were wayyy more professional and talented than squeaky Sonia. 🙄.
Dollar have a classy backlog, Sonia was a product of SAW, no depth no style, just squeeling screeching yuckiness.🤔... the songs were hits because of SAW, not because of Sonia.

You mean in your opinion, you prefer the music of Dollar. Personally - and in my opinion - I found them a bit cringey and soppy although they did do some good stuff. Sonia's music was very much a product of SAW yes, but she had so much energy and 'upbeat-ness'; it was a real welcome change from a lot of the rubbish on TOTP. Her songs were hits because she 'fit' the songs and had great emotion and personality on camera.
Both produced manufactured pop, but it'd be cruel to reduce one to "yuckiness".

Then Sonia and ppl like Mel & Kim...same crap but different ppl. I would be interested in the other quality stuff that you know though.
