Brii and umbreon in the main game, sans's only flaws were his sleepiness and his lack of will, but I'm sure now that since not only does he have high LV, he's also very determined, the two reasons why chara was so strong So yeah, not only does sans have high speed and a lot of bones, he's also stopping the player from getting strong enough to rival him by stealing exp, and on top of that, he's as determined as chara, so it makes sense that he's a demigod now

Hey Linx! There is a Pacifist Route! But when you attack monsters (The others, not the boss fights) attack em'. But, when Chara makes you kill Undyne, Say "No".. But Chara just controls you. But when you go to the REAL Fight, just stand and DON'T Fight him. (Sans) And when he says something like.. "Why are you not attacking me?" And, when Chara says something, Chara will ATTACK. But, Frisk will sacrifice, and later on, You will be able to fight Chara. And, JUST FIGHT, and don't heal, but even though you attack Chara, you also get hurt. But just Fight, I allow you. Then, when Sans arrives, he will say something. And he will delete Chara. And later on, you get the picture. That's the advice for Pacifist Route! Do it next time, Thanks! ^^
