9:06 secret mini jumpscare wolf: *waiting for it's cue to run* bucky: *zipping past not even giving it a chance to do it's preplanned 'cutscene'* outta my way im like 8 minutes in!
At the time, getting caught with the battery wasn't allowed. We were still ironing out the rules for it. Me and another runner always got bad luck at the last battery because there's only one way out and the dweller spawning was very screwy. I also screwed up my splits anyways.
I’m working out an 100% speedrun route and since it requires deleting the appdata save file then it resets the whole game and locks off 1997. In other words, I’m working on it lol.
@@charliejenkins3211 Both technically. I have to get all the bonus chests and the only way to reset them is to wipe away the save that is in the appdata. The version reset is a side effect from it since when you open the game for the first time 1997 is locked.
@@l1z4rdon7 ah, I mean technically an any percent speed run of the full game both versions should be possible without deleting the save file which was more what I was thinking initially but going the full distance is definitely impressive
30:55 dude i had a similar kill with bucky when i first played the game its so shitty in my playthrough i was going into the theater and he was already inside so when i walked in i got jumped immediately, scared the shit out of me.
I wonder how you deal with things like Olivia showing up and the rare instants that Rex pulls the same stuff or Brandon's Browser opening bullcrap. And maybe it's a dumb Idea but i actually really want a non-skip version of the Aquarium/Sewer section.....
It’s just playing the game. The browser thing does suck because I’m on a laptop so whenever Brandon does his thing or I put in a code that opens up UA-cam secrets, it tabs me out of the game and lags out the game and video recording because of my limited specs. As for the sewers there’s no reason to go down there at all. You go there to get codebreaker to solve the puzzles but if you’ve already solved the puzzle then there’s no need.
We mainly use glitches to go out of bounds to skip stuff, so I would look at any%. There’s not many glitches at all in the game so when we do find one it’s pretty funny.

lmao 🤣
Bucky: Can we stop for a second?
Speedrunners: I’m offended you even asked
13:55 bro that was amazing I would have screamed if I was you
12:53 you KNOW his life flashed before his eyes when he missed the barrel
13:57 here too
Gary and Nathan kept tag teaming to try to get you, meanwhile Olivia is who knows where jfjdjd.
I didn’t kill Olive in this run so she doesn’t show up in plaza.
@@l1z4rdon7 Oooh, that explains it! Thanks for the clarification.
Why specifically is section 7 called "the run killer"? What makes it so tricky?

Ngl would be nice to see a speed run from the proper begging of the game, like doing both the 2023 and 1997 versions which may just be me lmao

@@l1z4rdon7 like 100% as in everything in the game not just both versions? If I’m understanding the wording and my wording also makes sense lol
