I use my closet too. I don’t have any equipment accept I have adobe auditions. I use blankets to cover the surroundings area I’m in sitting, when I record. So improvising you know, I spend a lot of time editing to clean the voice by getting rid of the back sounds.👍

I'm always so happy to hear other people talk about all the outside noise they hear when they're in their studio. My closet studio is about 30 feet away from a VERY busy street, and it's right under a tree that loves to scratch when it feels even the gentlest of breezes, lol.

Soo cool! In my younger days i did some voice overs for local commercials and had to go to the local cable company for it and remember thinking the vocal booth is something one should be able to easily do at home.

Great video...The first Mic you had looked more like the Rode NT1 than the NT1A...(My NT1 is identical to yours...black with an oblong metal pop filter) the NT1A has a round fabric one and sounds a little brighter ( I have both). Good job with the closet.

Yes! The Apollo twin is amazing! I just got one! Just wanted to say that you’ve come a long way! That’s awesome! Not sure if you remember, but you made a video response to my video (back on the good ol UA-cam days) Mel’s Hidden Talent with your Pokémon impressions video! Great to see you’re still voice acting! You’re amazing! 😄🤙🏽💯

The mic she was holding in the video is the RODE NT1, NOT the RODE NT1-A. They are different microphones and sound VERY different from each other! The NT1 is black and the NT1-A is silver. They are slightly different in price but both in the same general price range, but I think the black one that Brizzy is holding (RODE NT1) is a much better sounding mic. In my humble opinion.

I had a Scarlett 2i2 2nd Gen until earlier this year. Sold it to my dad when he needed something once the pandemic hit and bought myself a Solid State Logic SSL2+ I'd been eyeing. I love it! Wouldn't trade it for the world! I hope you adore your Apollo Twin if/when you get it!
