College days in Baguio bring back memories! We have relatives' houses there, but with them abroad, caretakers handle things. The old-world charm of the house, despite giving me chills (it's been uninhabited for a while), intrigues. The history and vibes make it feel like a ghost haven, still my Tita insists we stay there during visits, but we opt for cozier hotels.
Nothing beats the old-world charm but of course we can’t deny the convenience hotels can give now, glad my videos brought back some of those cherished memories of yours! ☺️
july 2023, lumipat ako Baguio impulsively 😂 no regrets naman pero I wouldn't recommend doing it impulsively, thanks sa guide :D still helpful even today kahit mag 1 year na ako dito
Ahhhhhhhhhh so nostalgic! I wish I had this guide when I moved. It's been two/three-ish years since and I actually just moved out last week. Bigla ko namiss and Baguio life!!!
New subscriber here, big help ang mga tips mo sa mga gustong tumira sa baguio, and i am one of them pero planning stage pa lang, more power on your channel
Just saw your video and I really admire how well spoken you are. Pwede mo ko mabudol tumira sa baguio. Hahaha! But anyways, great video and you just got a new subscriber here. 😊
Good you explained the moisture problem, { helpful } so just look for ceiling fans, and keep those running on low. Dwellings have to breath. Stagnant air is what one must avoid. I wonder what the best neighborhoods are in Baguio, of course outside of tourist areas, which are anything but inviting to live in. Neighborhoods with greenery, quiet streets, bicycle lanes, parks, and nearby fresh food, medical centers, etc, renting houses, apartments, or condos.
My family is planning to move sa Baguio din. There's 3 of us. May suggestion po kayo na areas to look into. Kahit mejo distant sa center as long as okay ang internet connection sana. Salamat po
I see a lot of for rent in Leonila Hill, Aurora Hill, Asin Rd and Bakakeng. Theyre a little bit further sa center but prices are decent for the size of the rentals :)
Hi! Is it okay to ask about the amount of your apaartment's rental fee? I am a solo female planning to move to Baguio in 2 months and the type of apartment u currently live in is exactly what I'm looking to get. I hope you can share that info, it would be a great help for my search in terms of price references for the rental fee. Thanks
I suggest looking into areas like navy base, camp 7, and bakakeng para may parking. It really depends but on average I’d say it’s around 10k more or less 🙂
Hi! It depends on your field work definitely. Compared to Manila, Baguio definitely has less and lower rates of pay but di naman impossible. Maybe you can also consider looking for jobs online?
Greetings! Am looking for 1-2 BR apartments and my budget is 20K Php per month. Please email me available units around December or January. Salamat po.
I find this is very common when watching/listening Filippino U Tubers. I know a lot of Latin and sometimes can fill in the spaces. I am not frustrated but do find myself thinking, did they say something additional that would be good information to know? Thank you for the information! :)
I married a Chinese lady from Penang. I wanted to learn Mandarin, but her brother told me to not waste my time. People on the peninsula switch between Hakkien, Mandarin, Malay, and English in the same sentence. Our Taiwanese friends would laugh and ask her to please stay with Mandarin or English - they couldn't keep up.
Pick a language for your video. Switching back and forth is confusing for people who are fluent in both. I waited for the section on apartments and it’s like you switched almost exclusively to Tagalog. There’s nothing wrong with doing a video in your own language, but starting in one then switching midway into the video just wastes times for those who aren’t bilingual.
@@cheekydriveMaybe not use English only in the header. If You're going to speak English speak English. When I speak Spanish I don't switch it up with English every other sentence. Or in the same sentence... If she is targeting English speakers don't speak Taglish.
I switched from smarttv to my cp so I can make comments about you Morons. There are a lot of foreigners doing the same content. We Filipinos do not speak tagalog when speaking to American or some deprived Englishmouth from the EU. Dun ka sa far away!

Try using malong instead as a cover when you sleep. It's easy to maintain and provide comfort during cold weather.

Glad UA-cam suggested your channel to me today, Vinia. I’m very interested in visiting and maybe living in Baguio. From Texas, USA.

frustrating following what you say when you keep switching languages

EOP
Little difficult to follow for this American when you keep switching from Filipino to English in the same sentence.
I don't think the video is intended for expats or vacationers. I believe her audience is kids headed there for college
That sucks. Maybe try turning on your captions? She shouldn’t have to adjust herself just for one person.
