While I didn't perceive the SAT switch to be that big of a difference in the room it's really audible listening back! nice, gonna play a bit more with it :) Thanks for watching everyone! 🙃
In fat mode, both channels sound a bit muddy, I would recommend trying it w/o the fat switch in low gain mode and use your volume knob to clean up if need be. If you use the clean channel a lot as part of your gig, then try the BE/BB module for better results. In my case, I don't use a pure clean channel very often and like some hair on my cleans and lower the guitar volume if I need spank. YMMV but one perspective. Thanks for the great review!
Great demo, couldn't ask for more. Too bad it isn't possible to get the structure and fat switches on for one channel, and off for the other. I guess the BB/BE module is still the better choice if wanting a real clean.
Thank you 😊 Yes the BB is still cleaner. And yeah that was my thought - having a off/Ch2/both switch like the EQ on the IICP or the presence and depth on the Deliverance. Thanks for watching!
Hi Max Good job, I enjoyed your demo very much. As I am thinking of getting this module, there is one question: Is it possible to lower the gain with the guitar volume knob without loosing dynamic and tightness? I play in a coverband and I do it all the time 😊. My guitar is an hss strat with treble bleed. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Greets Thomas
Hey Thomas, thank you :) I think that should not be a problem but can't double check right now and it's not something I'm doing a lot - so I'd like to get back some time, but might be quite some time as we just had a child ;)
Hey, thanks for your comment. It's a great preamp, unfortunately I'm not sure when I should find the time to do a review on it. Also I feel it would only be interesting to a small niche of people..... That's no reason not to do a video on it, but I have a lot of different ideas for videos and need to prioritize ;) So - not now, maybe in the future. Cheers!
Hmmm darn. I wish you could get the high gain on one channel and the low gain on another channel so you could have one do metal and then the other be clean. Doesn't look like that's possible
@@francismcfadden3305 ah sorry I completely misunderstood you - yes you are right, they affect both channels and I too wish they didn't. But for me low gain plus a boost works great, I really like the BE mode with gain maxed!

SEHR GEIL Max !!!!!!!
Danke Henning! 🤘🏻
Thank you for showing the clean & diversity possible with this module.
Cleanish. I have the BEBB module. The BB gives pristine cleans. Have the DS which gives from cleanish to vintage Marshall overdrive
Sounds great man! Thanks for the demo.
Thanks Steven, glad you like it!
Nice review and playing, thanks Max!
Thanks! :)
Thanks Max great demo I appreciate the details you shared
Thank you! How do you like the sounds?
Just got love it
Awesome, still enjoying mine!
have fun with it 🤘🏻
Good Job, Max! What kind of pickup is it on the Tele ?
Hey Stepan, thanks mate! It's a Seymour Duncan Little 59 - so a medium output humbucker.
Nice demo

Thanks Brandon for the input and kind words 🙏🙂

GOOD REVIEW!
Hey Max, any chance you’ll do a demo of your Myasnikov MTL preamp you have in the background there?

If I understand correctly what you want, this is possible. Which device?
@@MaxFreist It is? I thought the low gain switch affected both channels?
@@MaxFreist Like I'm talking about the one inside too not the one on the front. I want like totally clean one channel and max gain on the other
@@MaxFreisterrr I guess the structure switch is what I mean. I assume it affects both channels right?

Great demo, man! I have to admit, I'm more than a bit jealous of how good your videos look. The image quality is top notch!
Thank you John! Wanna Trade image quality for a quad of 2000 V30? 😁😁😁
@@MaxFreist Man, I wish I even had a quad 😂
Do you maybe have a MTS RM amp? How does the module perform in it?
Hi, yes I have an RM100 and RM4, haven't tried it yet but should be great too - without mods a bit more low end and less tight.
