Welcome to our channel, Thanks for watching! We're a small sawmill and wood products business in Eastern Pennsylvania. Join me for videos on all things wood from the forest to the final product. We'll cover a wide range of topics about lumber and woodworking, machinery and heavy equipment, and even our family's Christmas tree farm.

Cory the orders first better with the dollar in the pocket than someone else's pocket and that's the joys of planers
👍🏻
I totally get why you couldn’t do this in this situation but I find my straight knives tear out way less when you can take a big depth of cut. Seems counterintuitive to me but I’ve had good results. Glad you did get the video out.
I’m going to have to experiment with that, I’m intrigued, thanks for sharing!
Birch is the one wood I struggle with the most for tear out .
How do you get your butt joints tight in the glue up ?
Carefully haha. I usually lay each row up with glue, put a clamp on one end, then use a mallet to tap each row tight from the other end.
